The Diary Game: A Day Of Successful And Unsuccessful Plans(16-03-2026)

Hey'lo y'all, welcome to a diary session with @purpleidy23. Today happened to be a day of successful and unsuccessful attempts for me. Firstly, when I got out of bed this morning, I thanked God for a new day before washing the dirty plates at home and sweeping the room. I fetched two buckets of water before washing few dirty clothes I had in the house, I was about brushing my mouth and taking my bath when I realized I had no bathing soap so I stepped out to buy.

I got to the shop, bought toothpaste and bathing soap with bread and beverage which would serve as my breakfast. I returned home and stood by the pavement to brush, and a young man stopped by while he was passing to ask for my name and some other personal information. When I finished brushing, I took my bath and boiled water to make tea. I ate and got dressed to school, we were asked to go to the school portal to register our courses manually and that's something I've been looking forward to since Saturday we got the update. My friend had called to remind me of it this morning and we agreed to be in school by 10am to do all the school runs and we got to school though I went a bit more because I didn't meet you with the time we agreed on.

I printed my course form alongside my friend's own as her phone had shut down and we both went down to the school portal only to find that the information wasn't for our level but for finalist(final year students) I asked that we walk down to our HOD's office to know what to do and when we got there, we found out that she wasn't on sit as she was doing her defense in the Counselling centre. We left and decided to check back the next day but I didn't go home immediately, my friend and I went to a corner to sit and catch up with gist we've missed for the weeks we haven't seen each other and we sure had a great time together.

While we were gisting, it began to rain heavily and we left the place to an empty hall where we continued our gist till the rain subsided. I went to escort her so she could repair her phone charging port which had issues and when she was done with it, she took me to a junction where I would enter keke back home. The price I was told made me decide to trek home but unfortunately I wasn't with my umbrella so I feared that the rain would become heavy again and I'll be soaked while trekking home so I decided to pay the charge and join the keke, I alighted in front of my compound and walked inside.

I got home, took my bath and ate the leftover bread I had at home before I began to think on what to eat for dinner. While I was thinking of it, I decided to read but my roommate began to prepare food which made the room hot and I stepped outside to sit. Seeing the low percentage I have in my phone made me begin to write so I would probably post it before my phone shuts down and after I'm done posting, I'll consider preparing rice for dinner.
