Homemade Okra soup with scent leaf and cow liver
Good morning fellow Steemians around the world and my beloved ladies in the community 🤗
Today, I want to share how I prepared my delicious okra soup using scent leaf instead of pumpkin leaves. It came out really tasty, so I decided to document the process with you all.
First, I bought cow liver meat, washed it properly, and set it aside. I then cut the okra to my preferred size, washed and sliced the scent leaf, and pounded fresh pepper with crayfish. I also sliced fresh tomatoes and onions. Other ingredients I used include seasoning cubes, salt, red palm oil, and water.
I placed my pot on the fire and poured in the red oil first. Next, I added the fresh tomatoes and onions, followed by the okra. I fried it for a few minutes and covered the pot to allow it steam properly.
After that, I added the cooked cow liver meat along with the remaining ingredients and covered the pot again for a few minutes. When I opened it, I added the sliced scent leaf, covered the pot once more, and allowed it to cook properly.
After about three minutes, the soup was ready. I dished it out and enjoyed it with fufu 😋🍲
Thank you for stopping by and sharing this moment with me.
