Tell your story#67. When women shine, my unforgettable evening at Vimpy Hotel 🏨

Hi ladies around the world 🌎, warm greetings to you all!

In honor of the “Tell Your Story” contest organized by @ruthjoe, I want to share an interesting experience I had on Sunday, November 30th, 2025.

At exactly 3:15 pm, I stepped out of my house to Vimpy Hotel for a car award ceremony organized by Health Code, a multinational health and wellness company from China. As the name suggests, they deal in high-quality health products through a multi-level marketing system.

You might ask, “Where exactly is Vimpy Hotel?”
Well, it’s located along Udo Udoma, off Oron Road, Uyo.

I attended the event with my sister, and the first thing that caught my eye were the celebrants’ cars parked beautifully outside the hotel — brand new 2025 Lexus models. Of course, I didn’t waste time before taking a quick picture with the cars 😂.

And here’s the exciting part:
Out of the 7 cars awarded that day, women received 6, leaving just one man among them. Isn’t that amazing? Big clap for these hardworking women who continue to support their families and excel in business! 👏💃💪

After the health talk and business presentation by their Nigerian manager, Awin Chin, the cultural dancers were invited to the stage for entertainment. Honestly, they didn’t dance to my expectations. The MC didn’t even give them enough time to showcase their full performance before they were asked to step down.

Immediately after that, Mr. Chin, the Chinese representative, handed over the car keys to the proud winners. Joy filled the whole hall!

Later that night, we still went to Ewet Housing Estate to chill and relax, despite the drink and rice they had already served us at the event center. Sometimes, enjoyment must continue! 😂

I went back home that day filling refreshed and motivated. It's really a story worth sharing
