Happy women

Hello, beautiful ladies!

Hello, my wonderful Steemit family! Today is 8 March 2026 and I couldn't let this day pass without showing up here to celebrate it with my sisters.

For over two decades, I've lived the life of giving. It's that serious that sometimes I wonder why I'm wired this way. So, when I saw this year's theme "Give to Gain", it felt like my whole life was described in three words.

Is there ever a woman who doesn't give?

For many women, we've spent a chunk of our lives giving life, giving health, and giving guidance. In my journey of life, I've learnt that every single time you show up to give, you receive something greater in return.

So, every time you pour into people, whether by giving them your time, mentorship or encouragement, you never return empty. Instead, you come back fuller. Fuller with happiness. Fuller with peace and fuller with the assurance that you lit up someone's world.

A lady 'gave' me valuable thought recently

I was at the Uyo Book and Art Festival recently, and there was a moment that captured my heart completely. It was the moment this lady climbed the stage to sing "We are here" by Alicia Keys (2014). Watch here. Just by listening to her voice and those words, something struck a chord in me. In reality, we are not here for ourselves alone. We are here to give and keep giving so the universe can become a better place.

I've seen it play out right here on Steemit. One woman shares a tip in her post, another reads and grows, and gradually, we make even more informed decisions from the experiences shared by others.

Life is all about giving. Do you agree?

When one of us wins, a door opens. When you share what you know, another person gets smarter. When we support a fellow creator in this community, we build a stronger network for everyone.

Today, I celebrate every woman who's been supportive to other steemian's journey here on steemit. I celebrate our mentors @ruthjoe @wattykitty @ngoenyi @blessedlife, @ninapenda @illorgic @chant. Our cheerleaders @aviral123 @zulay7059 @alexanderpeace @wuddi @lunasilver @peacemike, @mannatnawaz. The women who make sure nobody walks alone @mkponke-ouwa @yhudy. The ones who send the link to contests, leaves a comment, or say I believe in your talent quietly, without waiting for any applause.

We don't need to compete for a seat at the table when we can just build a bigger one.

I'm sitting here thinking about how much of my own journey has been shaped by the hands of other women both here on steemit and in real life. And I carry that with me every time I show up for someone else. Every time I hold a child's hand so they can rise.

To every woman who has held a door open for me, and every woman I've had the honour of guiding — thank you. We are better because we have each other.

Happy International Women's Day, my beautiful ladies!

Who is one woman that has shown up for you this year on Steemit? Tag her in the comments so we can celebrate her today.
