Merry Christmas
Hello my dear Steemians,
it is another day Christmas holiday, for many it is time to meet the family members. What I like much on this days it gives an opportunity to see again some of your family members who live far away. I try to visit these family gathering, because usually it s often few years that we do not see each other.
We usually come few day before the meeting day, because I love to help my mother to prepare the stuff. Usually by the time I arrive my mother has already all necessary products, meat, vegetables and of course some cakes. I love our cooking because then we are all in kitchen doing different stuff, like peeling off potato skin, cutting onion, carrots and anything else that my mother like. She usually the main cook and very good organised in her kitchen.
The salads we prepare a day before so that they cooled over night in fridge and juices of the vegetables are mixed nicely.
*The other thing that we love to do together is decorating our house, every year few of us have new Christmas decorations. We love to put them together to create a scene, but also we have many many candles. Some of them are different colours and some have odour. I actually do not like the odour but I love the colours. This time this big green candle was my favourite.
For my Christmas dedicated image, I decided to put these two angels together. There are two angels, one is snow white colour that was done by my grandfather when I was younger. Another one is red, that one was a present from one of our family member, I also like this one too. Of course, there are more angels in our house but I think these two are the most distinct.
