Tell your story#64: Morning with doghnuts

How do you start your morning? For me it is different, often when I have my study and in rush but I skip breakfast, it is important to get something to drink, the best is hot drink. Over here hot black tea with some milk is the best. Still there are some people who prefer to have coffee.
Often when I have a morning walk I see many people with coffee or tea to go. I can not understand how it is possible to drink hot drink from paper cups, usually then the whole drink tastes paper and also you can not enjoy drinking because then it is all the time shaking in your cup and because it is hot you can burn your lips or tongue, so not really ideal.
This week, it was a nice surprise when I arrived to my work, because one of my friend decided to buy some doughnuts for few of us. I actually not real fun of doughnuts but just one for hot drink is all right.
I remember doughnuts from old movies from USA about police workers who come in the morning and bring the box of doughnuts, that time I always thought that they must be very delicious, but when I tried them first time then I was not really impressed. Of course, the different shops or bakery have different tastes and indeed it differs a lot one from another one. My colleague has found one good bakery, it is a small family business and all the stuff are fresh made in the morning. Actually when you come towards lunch time then all the doughnuts are gone.
So this morning when we arrived, we were met with nice fresh smell of fresh baked doughnuts, understandably everyone was very happy including myself. This morning I did not have any breakfast so I still have time for my morning coffee and doughnuts. I have chosen one with some chocolate layer over it, I took only one because you might imagine that they are rich in calories. So hope you too time to time allow yourself such delicious breakfast.
