Lake Balaton in Hungary is the largest lake in Central Europe, which is why it was one of the destinations on my trip last year. I had the opportunity to admire it from the shore and from a hill on the Tihany Peninsula. In this post, I’ve included photos taken from the hill looking toward the northeast. This covers roughly one-quarter of the lake.
