RE: Japanese aesthetics in Dominican Republic

This structure attracted my attention and I decided to do some research on the internet; the image corresponds to an Oki-cat (lantern "seated"), used in small and private gardens, to create a point of interest, are small enough to be placed on the top of a stone and are often used to illuminate the edge of a pond and trails. Inside the house, they use them as a discreet lantern near tropical plants in a glazed terrace. This really coincides with the location of the Oki-cat that we see in the image of the National Botanical Garden. Greetings nameless-berk.
