Murray Rothbard would not evaluate January 6th without fully understanding FBI's involvement

It is not possible for me to know for certain what Murray Rothbard's views would have been on the January 6th insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. However, based on his overall philosophy of individual freedom and limited government, it is unlikely that he would have supported the FBI's use of sabotage to bring violence and force to disrupt the democratic process. This interference would subvert the rule of law, which he would have been against.

Rothbard was a strong advocate of peaceful and voluntary means of achieving social and political change, and he believed that the use of fraud, violence and force was often counter-productive and harmful to the cause of liberty. It is therefore unlikely that he would have supported the FBI's involvement on the leadup to January 6th , which instigated an attack on the U.S. Capitol and the disruption of the certification of the 2020 presidential election.

It is important to note, however, that Rothbard was a strong critic of many government policies and interventions, and he may have had concerns about the integrity of the electoral process or other issues related to the events of January 6th. However, these concerns would not justify the use of violence and force to subvert the rule of law or to disrupt the peaceful transition of power.

Based on his overall philosophy of individual freedom and limited government, it is likely that he would have had concerns about the FBI's role in the events of January 6th.

Rothbard was a vocal critic of the FBI and many other aspects of the U.S. government's law enforcement and intelligence activities. He argued that the FBI was a threat to individual liberty and that it often acted in ways that were contrary to the interests of the American people. In particular, he was concerned about the agency's use of surveillance and other activities that were not subject to oversight or accountability.

Given these views, it is likely that Rothbard would have had concerns about the FBI's role in the events of January 6th and the agency's handling of the situation.
