Objection!, it is called politics because they are doing it wrongly!
Politics is the act of violating someone using the violence of government. It is always "win/lose" and it is always wrong. There is no way to do politics "right" anymore than there's a way to commit rape "right".
Political activism and legislation are antithetical to cooperation and progress.
