Principle of the Day
Principle: Freedom and the right to privacy stand or fall together.
......original photography and artwork by bleujay.
'Winterscape'
Principles are timeless truths/concepts/proverbs for our ponderance.
Thank you to @fyrstikken for reminding bleujay of this principle in this post.....https://steemit.com/serious-security/@fyrstikken/the-joy-of-flashing-the-steem-account-value
Thank you Steemit readers. Cheers.
A kind note to all new Steemians......good manners and thoughtfulness of others will take you far....as for those who leave notes and links directing members to their site....and those who comment without an accompanying upvote.......please be advised this is not the Steemit way. bleujay does request that Steemians be so kind as to not leave gifs/photographs/etc. so as not to distract from the post......thank you.
It's gorgeous and see the river flowing and the snow / ice that lightens up, right by the water canyon. The leaves give beautiful color in the picture.
One must see the whole picture and not just the picture
It's reminiscent of spring break, or I'm looking forward to it.
For me, spring is more beautiful when birds sing and then I know the energy is coming.
Greetings @xpilar.
Thank you for your kind complimentary words.
Yes......we do look forward to Spring and those first chartreuse buds promising more to come.......so I thought of the contrast....what better than ice on the creek later to be contrasted with the vibrancy and colour of Spring.
You know winter always tries to have the last word......It could have been called 'Winter's Last Gasp'.
Wishing you all the best.
Cheers.
Thank you @ bleujay
Simple and strong mesage. Its nice to see the winterscape without the snow.
Great job.
Thank you for your kind reply @oldtimer.
Appreciate hearing you enjoyed the post.
Looking forward to seeing your posts....have to tell you those kitties are too cute.
All the best to you and yours.
Cheers.
I agree wholeheartedly with this principle. Your winterscape photography is fantastic as well! Great post!
Thank you for your kind and enthuastic reply @brian.rrr.
Appreciate hearing you enjoyed the post.
Looking forward to reading what you have out there.
All the best to you and yours.
Cheers.
An interesting principle when it comes to Steemit isn't it? I read fyrstikken's post with interest. It poses some interesting questions. I remember when I first joined steemit I was agog at the idea that all wallets were open to casual inspection.
Such a stark yet beautiful winterscape. There is a true beauty in those frozen yet sunny scenes
Thank you for your kind reply @meesterboom.
Appreciate hearing your thoughts.
bleujay is interested in what the witnesses have to say....really appreciated fyrstikken articulating his stance on the issue. The way Steemit is set up does give one the option to be anonymous and for that bleujay is grateful.
So happy to hear you enjoyed the post.
'Happy birthday' to the little lady.....sounded like a lovely day.
Cheers.
It was indeed a lovely day. she was very happy.
That is one saving grace certainly the lack of insistence on real names. Here is hoping it stays that way!
stand together of course!
I wonder if they'd ever make the wallet private and only those who are registered and logged in could see it sighs ..
I hope they do :D
stay warm mon ami!
Lovely to hear from you mon ami......
Yes...stand together of course... ^__^
That sounds a brilliant idea.
Oh yes....lets have a cuppa.
A bientot.
lets! ^ ____ ^
Good principle! Beautiful scenery with little stream covering with ice and the amazing trees. I like the color of the leaves and grass in the last picture, too!
Great photos and good artwork, as always! ;)
Thank you @tangmo for stopping by.
Always happy to hear you enjoyed the principle and the photographs/artwork.
Wishing you and yours a lovely week-end. ^__^
Cheers.
It’s my great pleasure!
Wishing you and yours all the best! ;)
You have such philosophical posts, I always have to think about your words first and every time I am wondering are you philosopher, priest or may be a teacher. This principle is one that really that many people striving and wishing to have. I believe that every human have to be free and have freedom of movement, of choice to decide, and to tell what he thinks. Living in Western world I consider myself very lucky to have everything freedom and the right for privacy. Having it since our childhood we think that it is a norm and just there. But when we grow up and see how the people in other countries have no freedom and live in tyranny, of course they have no right for privacy, that is the major problem in our modern world.
Thank you for nice pictures of this little river that has no problem and free, it can choose its way and if there any obstruction on its way it just chooses a way to bypass it.
Thank you @stef1 for your thought-full and kind reply.
Lovely to hear......that is what they are supposed to do....cause one to ponder these timeless truths.
To answer your wonderings.....bleujay is a student....of history...of the philosophers...of the Bible....where many of these principles originate. Life is full of purpose, meaning and definition when one is a student of the Bible under the intruction of a pastor who studies from the original languages of the Bible.
Your expressed thoughts are true....we in the West are not quite aware of this treasure or we would not give it away.....always good to be reminded. Your comment concerning the river was lovely to think on.
All the best.
Cheers.
I am very grateful for your answer and for disclosure of what you are. I enjoy reading your replies, there is something that bring a peace in them. May be that is the purpose of your posts. Thank you for that!
Beautiful winter photos dear @bleujay with great words of Principle
Have a great Sunday :)
Dear @pepe.maya......very kind of you to drop by. ^__^
Appreciate your compliment and thoughts regarding the principle.
Thank you for your kind wishes.
Here's hoping you are having a lovely Sunday.
I think that principle is true mostly but what about STEEM for example? Here there is very little right to privacy, everyone's account is open and we can see all activity on the blockchain, yet we still have a great deal of freedom as users.
Thank you for your reply @captaincanary.
Yes.....it is true that here at Steemit....it is open to public view.....which is why so many do not think they are free to use their proper names and instead use a nickname.
@frystikken recently posted about the matter of security and privacy at least as it relates to one's Steem accumulation and brought up some very valid points.
Appreciate hearing your thoughts.
Cheers.
True, you are right about the nicknames. I guess a mixture of privacy and openness is ideal.
We're always in search of balance on the brink of a possible...
Many thanks dear @bleujay for the principle! It's incredibly capacious and truthful!
Very beautiful photographs! You're great at translating the visual component of meanings!
My first thought when looking at the photographs:
It must necessarily break through the ice to the open space, because there, in front, there's something for which it needs to flow ...
Thank you for sharing the link. The post is perfectly complemented by the principle!
My best and sincere wishes!
Greetings @evgsk.
Appreciate you dropping by with your lovely words. ^__^
Your ponderance is beautifully composed and welcome.
Appreciate your kind wishes.
Wishing you all the best.
Cheers.
