Stunning view of New York city from the Top of the Rock

When I visit New York, I love going to the Top of the Rock observation deck .

Among the number of great spots providing a panorama of the city, this is truly the best.
You are 70 stories above the Rockfeller center and its location right in the heart of Manhattan give you a 360 degree view including the Empire State building , the Chrysler building, the One World Trade Center, Central park and even the Statue of Liberty.

This is as well the only one to have 3 levels of observation decks including one outdoors and the last one free of glass enclosure which is perfect for pictures!

Of course this is a very popular attraction so you'll have to wait at least half an hour to access the elevator ride to the top as everyone is going through security checkpoints. Unless you can afford VIP tickets with priority elevator access!

One last tip ;)

The best time to go there is just before dusk to enjoy the city during the day, at the sunset and at night.
