I am looking for recommendations on what is simply worth watching ...

Wonderfully useful Google gives me 500,ooo " results " . . .

I do not want to paint any image of my personal ' tastes ' since i am looking for NEW variety ,

away from my personal tastes ...

Would recommend this movie "the last ship". It's a season movie though. It's an action movie about survivor(navy) of a contagious disease that tends to wipe out the entire world . I was intrigued by the level of intelligence shown by the captain of this ship Tom chandler and I'm sure you will too. I'm not much of a story teller but believe me...you'll enjoy this movie

thank you, i think i recall a trailer about ( i thought ) a submarine, sailing into a city up a river or something. LoL maybe it was a Ship but it might be nice to check out, again thank you / Hugz ;)

I'll give you two tv shows from each side of the spectrum. This is Us (2 seasons out, check your local on-demand listing, on hulu as well) is a great tv show. It'll touch your heart and make you laugh at the same time. You can watch it with the family for sure.

Black Mirror (4 seasons out on netflix) is a show where it's not really a series but every episode is a different story. Awesome show, it makes you really think twice, choosing between right and wrong. Why people end up on an episode of Snapped. Haha

i will investigate :) and report back , that's the trouble in todays world ; LoL , FaR to many choices of stuff , that is why i am seeking recommendations . . . rather bored with my old favourite " re-runs " , time to update for something ' newer ' ...
