I finally got to meet some other Steemians! (in Condado, Puerto Rico)
Have you ever seen a reflection of yourself in the natural beauty of the world? I have many times, and yet again it has happened.
A Steem Connection
Today I drove to San Juan, from Rio Grande. My goal was to meet with a friend that I came into contact with on Steemit. My exact destination was in Condado, at a local coffee shop. I had no expectations for how things would go, I just knew that this was supposed to be a part of my trip here in Puerto Rico.
Before arriving at Sobao, I stopped inside of Crush to get a "Red Carpet" detox frappe. Ingredients : Apple, Kale, Blueberries, Strawberries, Banana, Agave, and a Green Boost Formula.
After I got my drink, I sat down in the shaded outdoor area at Sobao across the street. I was only there for about five minutes, then around the corner came @sean-king. I was pleased to make his acquaintance in person, a very genuine human being just as I had imagined through previous conversation via Steemit/Email. We chatted about life, including everything from every day life in Puerto Rico, Crypto/Steem, and even some about the future. I learned so much so quickly and am very thankful for his time.
Sean explained that he lives his life in a manner that allows his abundance of currency to circulate throughout the Puerto Rican economy. This enables the island to prosper together as a whole, I respect this so much. He really is giving back to the community, much like how he does here on Steemit by upvoting posts. Energy must go out if it is to come back in, he has obviously figured out this process.
Sean was lucky enough to be involved with cryptocurrencies for many years, as early as 2010. So he is now able to let things just flow for the most part, thanks to wise decisions years prior. This gives me even more motivation to keep posting here on Steemit, as this is the best method so far for me to accumulate crypto at this stage in my life. It would be very difficult for me if I were not able gain rewards here, I am not really able to just buy loads of crypto.
A few synchronistic facts about the two of us :
Sean and I were both born in October, just three days separate our birthday (different years obviously). We both are also from very small towns in West Virginia that have nothing but a few miles in between. Only to meet up for the first time down in the Caribbean.
Venturing Through Condado
After a quick chat at the coffee shop, we went off on a short walk. Eventually arriving at the place he currently calls home. Upon first entrance, I got to meet his blissed out wife, the stunning @steemed-open. Just like her husband, she had a radiant aura which you were able to feel from several feet away. Both were glowing souls and full of vibrance, it is crystal clear that these two are meant to be together. Speaking of crystal clear, I also laid eyes on their mesmerizing view of the waves crashing against the rocks down below. I am very thankful that they welcomed me in their exotic home.
Soon after, Sean and I walked down the road just a bit, to his soon to be abode that is currently being remodeled. We waited for the elevator to take us up to the eighteenth floor to his two story penthouse. Once inside, I could tell there was a lot of work ahead for those involved with the construction, but the potential was through the roof. The vision is certainly there, plans were being riddled off to me left and right. I could tell he was very ecstatic to own this place.
We stepped out onto the huge balcony that overlooked the turquoise Caribbean Sea. I had just been blown away by the last home's view, and again I was in shock of just how magnificent our Earth is. All of my favorite shades of blue and green, a warm breeze, plenty of sunlight, yet just enough shade to stay at a moderate temperature. It was literally perfect, and I do not say that often.
How I Discovered @sean-king
When I first joined Steemit, I was looking through the #puertorico tag one day. I discovered Sean's post on the cryptocurrency tax benefits of living in Puerto Rico. You can find that article here. It opened my eyes quite a bit, and made my desire to visit this island even stronger. From there, I found his photography and left a meaningful comment about doing an art collaboration together.
The results of those collaborations feature @steemed-open, and can be found here :
Much Love
I have never been more motivated to manifest my dreams than I am right now. Today I witnessed with my own eyes, what hard work, patience, some risk taking, and even a bit of luck will get you. I saw an evolved version of myself in the life that Sean lives. Thanks for the motivation, thank you for the upvotes, and most of all thank you for living your life to the fullest. I look forward to meeting again in the future.
Be sure to follow @sean-king & @steemed-open

Generator saved me, besides having AC. I managed.
