Why Can't the founder of Bitcoin come out and claim a Nobel Prize
Satoshi Nakamoto founded Bitcoin at a time when it was unheard of, underground and effectively an experiment in cryptography.
His whitepaper and solution to the architecture of a currency of the internet, was both visionary, superb and quite flawless - hallmarks of a genuis.
Satoshi designed Bitcoin on top of the blockchain - which solved many issues with existing currencies, such as:
the risk of counterfeiting, establishing trust (immutable blockchain), distributing and storing safely (SHA256 encrypted wallets) , speed of transmission (global nodes), incentives to promote adoption (mining), manipulation (decentralised open network)
Since Bitcoin was launched 8 years ago his architecture has been intensely pressure tested by extreme levels of popularity and transaction demand. It has withstood all of the myriad of risk factors and attempts to break it by armies of hackers and shadowy underworld groups and even government sponsored hackers.
Bitcoin has established itself as the supreme and long lasting king of cryptocurrencies - often imitated, but never beaten.
Many governments, banks and powerful shadowy groups have an interest to discredit Bitcoin and the first step in doing that is to unmask Satoshi.
If they can show that he is a ‘criminal’ and assassinate his character publicly, it could destabilise Bitcoin itself. They will try to show that he has a power to somehow influence the currency and that no one should trust their money to this guy.
For example when Craig Steven Wright claimed to be Satoshi in 2015, his house was raided by Australian police Police raid home of suspected Bitcoin mastermind
If i was Satoshi i would simply stay underground and out of the limelight for as long as possible - he can enjoy his life and spend his Bitcoin in peace!
great piece bro
