How to increase your creativity and innovation capacity. Chapter 1: How does nature create value?

In a rapidly changing world with increasing automation of repetitive production processes, the speed of innovation or creation of value has become the key factor to live well and progress, those who fall behind too much are becoming outdated, blinded and excluded. 

Given the importance of the topic, I decided to write a series of articles aimed at helping people and organizations to face the challenge of adapting to the new conditions of life that the 21st century presents us with every step of the way. 

The information I will share is the result of several years of experience participating in the development of new concepts, models, processes, products and services. 

Unlike most courses that are currently taught on the topics of creativity and innovation, before dealing with the issue of its application in the ventures, we will begin by identifying the main sources of value creation.

 In this way you will learn from your roots how the talents of creativity and innovation are developed, which will allow you to progressively even improve the methodologies linked to these topics, with which you can further increase your abilities to create value. 

Towards there we will go in a series of chapters, now we start the trip. The first source of value creation is NATURE, she created our highest values: LIFE and CONSCIOUSNESS, so how does nature create, innovate or build evolution, or if you want to call it: the cosmic intelligence or way of life that is behind her? 

It does so by weaving networks of connections, which we can call information or interior of the form. 

That is, from the subatomic particles, atoms, molecules, cells, tissues, organs, and the various life systems, are all networks of elements that interact, integrate and harmonize progressively, from less to more, creating new attributes, properties, functions, capacities and values.  

 Then in the interaction of the components of nature different forms of connection and network formation are produced, which as they evolve, transform and originate changes that create new elements, attributes and values. 

 In evolution some changes are progressive and others are radical. 

For example, between the radical creations in nature and according to the science that the stars study, it is in supernovas or explosions of stars, where the heavier atoms such as iron, carbon, gold, uranium, copper, zinc are connected or built.  as well as other elements necessary for the creation of the planets and the sustenance of life. 

Also according to scientific experiments when the conditions of the primitive earth are recreated or simulated in the laboratory and electricity or radiation is applied to certain inorganic substances, new connections, networks of elements or developments of basic organic molecules are obtained, related to the primitive origin of life.  

 Each level of information evolution is to say each level or layer of the networks of connections, tends to be more complex than the previous level, so organic molecules tend to be more complex than inorganic molecules, because they are formed by networks or connections of more diverse elements and have more attributes, properties or values, such as the DNA molecules that are in each of our cells.  

Being able to understand how in the nature of infinite possibilities the creation and evolution of life began, changes or new connections taking place both progressively and radically, as happens also in biological mutations, or sudden and exponential changes in genetic information,  

 It is observed that changes in nature occur in processes of concentration and intensification of energy and information or overloads of connections, which occur from the subatomic level, taking into account that even protons are constituted by associations or connections of mesons and quarks , from which nature weaves progressive or radical evolution or innovation.  

 Quantum physics describes objects not as determined "things" but as curves of possibilities. 

Modern science considers that only some of the infinite possibilities of creation and transformation of the natural elements have been realized from a connective order behind the chaos; order manifests itself as a linker or network weaver that turns possibilities into realities.   

Thus, from the point of view of physics, if we propose a new complementary concept, we can define information as networks of connections, links, forms, orders, structures, dynamics or relationships organized at different levels of interaction or meaning, through which Nature weaves or creates value. 

In conclusion: 

We can create value, building the next evolutionary level or meta level of networks of connections or information fabrics on the subject or subject that you choose to evolve, recreate or innovate. 

Example, the meta level of atoms, is the inorganic molecular level composed of networks of atoms, in turn the meta level of inorganic molecules, is the level of organic molecules, composed of inorganic molecules and so on. 

The etymological meaning of the meta level is "after", "beyond", for example the concept of metacognition is understood as knowledge of knowing, thinking of thought, as the next level of organization or understanding, involves active examination of cognitive processes. 

Another example the water molecule can be understood as the target level of the hydrogen and oxygen atoms which are very volatile fuels, but which when connected or joined in a ratio of two to one respectively, create the water molecule, with very different characteristics than the elements that gave rise to it, this is how the creation of the new value in nature works.
