It is fascinating to me how some people are prone to strep, and others not. I had strep once in childhood and haven't had it since. I have a friend with kids that are 5 and 7 and they each have had it a dozen times. I seems we may be flu prone in this family though, as I have had it probably ten times in my life.

I've heard multiple people say that about the tonsils. Sometimes a good threat just scares the tonsils back into good behavior :)
