This picture reminded me of one of my favorite songs of Imagine Dragons "Believer". There are the words "Pain,you make me a Believer". I'm sorry to read that you had a hard time,but I'm glad they are gone! And i agree with you about "It is the one that is most adaptable to change." :)!
