Seven secret photos smuggled from North Korea

The authorities of North Korea not only encourage tourism, but impose a strict ban on photographing the country itself and the opportunity in it. But some fancied visitors and journalists have risked their freedom and life to capture the opportunities and interests of the "crazy dictator" Kim Jong-Una. This is seven of those photos that managed to smuggle from the country:

  1. Man eating a grass

In a country subordinated to the dictatorship-military regime, their own needs, even those necessary for survival, are not a priority. Citizens are pulling their brains out of their small legs in a way that they consider themselves to be sacrificed for the homeland, and for the majority of the population, it means life in poverty, with countless hours of work and waiting to get "better tomorrow". A photograph of a man collecting and eating grass taken in North Korea shocked the world. It is well known that there are frequent food shortages in the country. In addition to food, wild wild berries, animals on the road are also picked up, and they are reported to even eat rats.

  1. The guard under the machine gun

Despite systematic brain drain, there are people who are encouraged enough to choose to abandon such a painful life, but the problem is that leaving the country is not a matter of their personal choice. But to prevent this, the soldiers on the machine gun are in charge of shooting anyone who tries to escape North Korea by sailing to China. Departures from the country are forbidden for two reasons - the state loses their slaves cheap labor while others are based on fear of exposing the actual situation but also the secret of that country to the world.

  1. Barb Wire

In order for people to try to slip from North Korea to China (which is actually very close), first they should cross the barbed wire through which electricity is run and it runs miles and miles along the state border. The police check the fence every day, and if someone finds a jammed wire, he or she is taken to work camp or shooting.

  1. Desperate rows

Kim Jong-un is obsessed with leaving the powerful impression of North Korea in the world, but the truth is that over 90 percent of this country lives in extreme misery. It is impossible to ascertain to what extent North Korean cars are indeed privately owned and how far the car is on the roads. If you believe in official North Korean sources, their industry is the world's best car maker, but this rare photo shows people they have to wait for a bus ride, and apparently they do not even have them. Most optimistic estimates show that a country with 24 million inhabitants has a maximum of 40,000 cars. Most of them are owned by the state, and are therefore deployed by the capital.

  1. Exploitation of children

Kim Jong-nj's children-slaves load heavy stones into bags while others repair a hammer rail. Taken from school tuition and forced to do a job that is difficult for adult men, these poor children are doing 10 hours a day. The entire intelligence network used the hidden cameras to secretly record the video and photos that were made during this year.

  1. Hunger

How severe the conditions are in North Korea show the scenes of starving children, which are much as 5 centimeters lower than their peers in South Korea. In addition, it is enough to see how it looks like a "shop" in a typical north korea village to figure out what their equipment is like.

  1. Madness that controls everything

In each hairdressing salon in North Korea there is a poster of 28 approved hairstyles, among which people choose to look their hair. The North Korean government thinks these styles are "the most comfortable" and protect them from the "corrupt influence of capitalism". Each of these hairstyles is far from examples of the West's decadence. Except for sex, haircuts are divided by marital status - so married women may have a bit longer hair. Men are obliged to go to hair every 15 days, due to the belief that long hair removes important nutrients from the brain.
