Bestiality, Pedophilia and Necrophilia:How These Paraphilic Disorders are Destroying the Human Race

Recently in a West African State, a female goat gave birth to a strange creature whose physical features resembled that of a human and an animal. People were curious and wanted to know more about the strange creature. Further investigations implicated it's owner who was reported to have sexually abused the goat and allegedly got it pregnant. How this was possible is up to science to explain. But judging by the looks of the creature and the owner confessing to the crime, it was certain that something actually went down between the man and the animal.

Sometime ago, an Asian zookeeper was busted for sexually abusing the Orangutans and it was alleged that he got one of them pregnant. Even though the man owned up to the crime, there was no concluding evidence on whether he was truly responsible for the pregnancy or not. These two reports are just two of the many times that humans have been sexually involved with animals.

As if the issue with bestiality isn't sparking enough problems for society, a pathetic story emerged some months back of how a three weeks old baby in one of the African countries was molested to death by her biological dad. The man's semen was splashed all over the baby's body and her sexual organ was completely damaged. Recently, I cringed when I read online that a Wisconsin dad was arrested after he posted on craigslist that his four year old daughter was up for some fun with any willing customer at a 1000$ rate for 2 hours. These two instances proves the danger children are facing on a daily basis as pedophiles continue to roam the streets.

Lately, sex with corpses is also on the increase. Recent crimes perpetrated by necrophiles have proved that some people would rather have sex with corpses than with living human beings.

Welcome to the paraphilic world of bestiality, pedophilia and necrophilia who derive pleasure from having sex with animals, children and corpses. These obnoxious acts are gradually polluting our society and threatening human existence. It is fundamental to note that for every consenting human adult female boycotted in exchange for sex with animals, children and corpses, there is always a deadly consequence: One less human procreation. If this continues to be a trend, then I'm afraid in the nearest future, human beings may become extinct.

The sexual organ has one primary function: To procreate humans. And in order for this to manifest, certain activities has to occur between two consenting people; an adult male and an adult female. But lately, people are challenging nature and becoming too daring in their sexual exploits. This daring nature of humans is creating problems for society and if not curbed or completely eradicated, humanity may be on the verge of destruction.

Bestiality, pedophilia and necrophilia-Origin of these paraphilias:

Going by biblical revelations bestiality may be quite as old as man and must have triggered off the emergence of the other paraphilias.

How do people develop these paraphilias?

Research has proven that most people suffering from these paraphilias are men, but recently there have been reported cases of women indulging in sex with animals, corpses and children.

Psychoanalysts describe sufferers of these paraphilias as people with psychological disorders. It is worthy of note that certain situations could be responsible for these abnormal behavior. There is usually a peculiarity associated with these behaviors. Most people who have been sexually involved with animals either work with animals or have them as pets. Most necrophiles are people who are constantly handling dead bodies and could either be morgue attendants or serial killers. Then there are pedophiles who are likely people with close relationship with kids. Given these circumstances,sufferers may carry out these acts out of lust, convenience, or a crazy adventure. But when it becomes a part of their daily lives, then it becomes a disorder which could be treated as a mental ailment.

How to spot sufferers of these paraphilias:

Unfortunately there are no hard and fast rules on how to identify these paraphilias in people. However, sufferers may exhibit one or more of the following behaviors:

1. Unusual fondness for animals: It's okay to have animals as pets, but when you begin to see that animal as another human being, then something may not just be right. Findings have revealed that some zoophiles have the tendency of being sexually involved with animals.

2. A reticent nature: Most of these sufferers are loners and anti social. Psychoanalysts have argued that their extra quiet nature and the need to feel loved by something may be the reason for their abnormal behavior.

3. Addiction to explicit sexual acts: Some porn addicts may indulge in some of these paraphilias in order to satisfy their sexual fantansies.

4. Difficulty functioning in heterosexual relationships: Some of these sufferers may find it unpleasurable to have normal sexual intercourse with their partners.

5. Some may suffer from depression, mood swings and substance abuse: These factors may push them to indulge in some of these abnormal acts as a way to get a little adventurous.

Despite the harm these abnormal behavior have caused children, families and societies, some psychologists have been putting in words for sufferers and have specifically labeled pedophilia as some sort of 'fate' and not a matter of choice. Some have gone ahead to argue that you can't help whom you have feelings for, and therefore pedophiles shouldn't be completely blamed for their actions.

These psychologists have further argued that there are people who are sexually attracted to kids, but have never carried out any sexual act on them. While those psychologists may be right, it is also fundamental to point out that you may not help whom you have feelings for, but you can choose whom you sleep with. While it is appropriate to congratulate those 'faithful pedophiles', I would like to reiterate that majority of those 'faithful pedophiles' probably never carried out the act because it was never convenient for them and not because they never wanted to.
If you observe how some of the sufferers of these paraphilias function, you would conclude that convenience plays an important role in their actions.

A typical example of how convenience plays an important role in some of these paraphilic acts:

Take for instance a man working in a zoo who claims he can't help himself from having sexual feelings for animals. No matter how sexually starved that man is, he can never get close to a lioness. Why? Because it is not convenient for him. But he would rather find a convenient means to satisfy his sexual urges by pouncing on the mammals with similar sexual organs as an adult female human being. Try to test the man by coming up with a false claim that anyone who has had sexual intercourse with those mammals all died within seconds, and watch his sexual feelings varnish instantly.

A serial pedophile was once questioned on why he preyed on little kids and his response was: "Because it is more easier with children than with adults."

A necrophile who was once caught in the act said he didn't know what came over him. But what ever it was that came over him, wasn't so powerful to have made him commit the crime in the open. He actually calculated his moves and carried out his dastardly act when no one was around.

All these actions proves that convenience and not fate plays a great role. It is therefore worthy of note that any premeditated act that was carefully planned and executed can no longer be termed fate;but seen as a crime and perpetrators should be treated as criminals.

Should sufferers be stigmatized?

Some psychologists have argued on the need to show love, support and care for people who are suffering from these paraphilic disorders. While it may be okay not to stigmatize them, it is recommended that sufferers be confined to avoid more pollution on society. Aside the harm they pose to themselves, someone else is also put in harms way. Sometime ago in the US, a lady was distressed upon learning that her boyfriend was sexually abusing her dog. Imagine the psychological trauma she must have passed through at the thought of having an 'animal' as her competitor, and the possibility that he must have contracted an incurable sexual disease from the dog and possibly infected her with it. So in the end, it isn't always about the sufferer, but their victims.

Is there a solution to these abnormality?

Unfortunately, some people live all their lives with these paraphilic disorders without the law catching up on them. In order to rid our society of these paraphilias, we need to break the chain first before we think of mending it. In other words, it is much safer to prevent a situation than to solve the problem that may characterize it. This is why everyone needs to stay on alert and report any slightest suspicion. When all suspicions are confirmed, then it's up to the law to take it's full course on offenders.

Sufferers on the other hand need to do much more than cry foul or blame some sort of evil force for their dastardly acts. If you're certain your sexual feelings is abnormal, then it is better to kill that feeling than act on it. Therapy may not do much as there could always be a relapse. It is in this regards that some analysts says administering chemical castration could go a long way in curbing the situation of these sexual disorders. The most important thing is preventing the dangers these sexual disorders poses on society and if chemical castration is the solution, so be it.

How we can join hands and end this:

Sex with animals, children and corpses is not only gross, but also anti-human and all cases should be treated with severity. The society is past the era of "I can do whatever I want" slogan because if everyone is allowed to act however they please, then serial killers will also try to justify their actions. There is more the society can do to ensure that these acts are completely eradicated.

One way is by organizing mass rallies which will effectively pass a message across to perpetrators. Government can also implement anti paraphilic laws that will act as a deterrent to would be perpetrators.

Film makers should also stop glorifying these acts by producing movies that could be viewed as encouraging these abnormalities. They should not always be about the money and focus on contents that can add value to society.

Parents, siblings, relatives and friends also have a greater role to play. It is important to keep close tabs on loved ones to ensure they are not straying and exhibiting some sort of abnormal behavior. While it may not be wrong to be a zoophile, when it leads to acts of bestiality, then it becomes a different ball game.

It is therefore important to carefully watch people closely (regardless of the relationship you have with that person) and try to know what they are up to. There is nothing wrong in suspecting someone so long as it doesn't lead to any form of accusations without proof. We have reached a certain point where suspicion can go along way in solving a problem.
