What do I think about the shooting in Parkland, Florida and all other random shooting events that have been happening lately?
Are we really getting to the root of the problem by suggesting teachers be armed in schools? Do you think that taking away guns is going to stop random acts of terror and violence from happening?
Until we start looking for the true problems.
Until we can be honest with ourselves about the role we play in these problems, real healing cannot begin and any solutions will be ineffective.
Violence begets violence begets nothin' much at all. It is time to listen and understand the issues. Unless you have been through it personally, like I have, you have absolutely no clue. Think before you speak, and watch what you say.
It is time we all stop assuming we know everything, and to seek real understanding before we begin even TRYING to solve such complex socio-economic and culturally embedded behaviors.

Most of them, the mass shooters in the USA, have been on SSRI's (anti-depressants).
