As a music fan, these have to be the coolest audio speakers I've seen yet!

With today's ever expanding tech world it is sometimes difficult to keep up on the latest and greatest technologies. In the ever growing sea of simply bad-ass tech toys out there today, it takes something pretty amazing to catch my eye, or ears in this particular situation. Transparent speakers seem like something straight out of one of your favorite Sci-Fi films.

Turtle Beach Corporation has developed just that, “HyperSound” speakers that are as clear as a glass window. On June the 8th, they revealed that they are now able to create a directional audio signal using a clear sheet of glass. They also released a prototype video to show the world their new technology before it picks up momentum to be produced and sold at a commercial level. Juergen Stark, CEO of the company, described many of the possible application of this amazing tech marvel. The potential uses could be to integrate these into desktop speakers, desktop monitors, commercial displays, and even your personal vehicle display system.  They are looking to eventually open up this technology for 3rd party usage, which would open doors to many other applications.

HyperSound Glass is designed similar to a touchscreen, using multiple layers of transparent materials along with an electric current to create a beam of crisp audio. This audio can be highly directional and is capable of creating a 3D-Cinema atmosphere while eliminating any outside noise feedback. Happy Listening!
