Eid day 5 killed in Bogra road

Five people were killed in road accidents in Sherpur and Shajahanpur upazilas in Bogra; Two more were injured.

Police said the incident occurred on Wednesday in front of the auto-rickshaw collision with Shajahanpur bus and a motorbike collided with a tree in Sherpur.

Of the dead, two were Shamim Akash, 28, son of Soharb Hossain of village Hazhraari and Joynal Abedin Sohel Rana, 27, of Kashipur upazila of the district.

Bogra Shaheed Ziaur Medical College Hospital Police Outpost SI Abdul Aziz said that at around 8:30 am, a road collided with auto-rickshaw with a bus on Dhaka-Bogra Highway in Najirabazar area of ​​Shajahanpur upazila.

"Autorickshaw was going to Sherpur with a passenger from Shajahanpur. On the other side, a road collided with a bus from Rangpur-bound Al Hamra Paribahan. One person died on the spot. The doctors declared two more dead after being brought to the hospital. "

He is being treated at the hospital as two more injured in the accident, he said.

Meanwhile, two people were killed in a motorcycle control at around 12pm in Shalpara Boalkandi area under Sherpur upazila.

Sherpur Police Station OC Humayun Kabir said, "Akash and Rana were going to Sherpur by motorcycle on Kashipur from the upazila. On the way, he lost control on the tree and died on the spot. "
