Hi, my name is Orlando Aristigueta. I write from from a small town called Villa de Cura, in Aragua state, Venezuela. You know me in the Steemit community as @orlandeto. I am an artist, painter, muralist and I teach workshops of these disciplines.

The reason for this post is to request your help because I am going through a strong health malaise originated in a malnutrition with which I am struggling several months ago, as a result of the high cost of food here in Venezuela.

This malnutrition has caused me to faint, weakness, my eyelashes fell and this affects my sight. The volume of the eyebrows diminished, the hairs of my legs also fell off. The skin of my hands and feet falls. My feet are numb but at the same time sore at any touch.

I had to quit working because of this malaise, only my life partner (@sayury) is working and now we have less for the overfeeding that I need to get out of this state. In addition I must take polyvitamins, folic acid, magnesium chloride, provide (carnitine). I need petroleum jelly or glycerin for the skin of my hands and feet.

You will wonder how my wife @sayury and my son @luisfe are not like me, is that I was a weightlifter, a gym daily and ate a lot. Due to inflation I started eating much less quantity and quality too. We gradually eliminated many items from our diet and there was a time when we had to consume almost exclusively cassava, pumpkin and green bananas. This caused me constipation and problems of strong hemorrhoids that did not allow me to work. When the entrance of money at home decreased, food became even more scarce and I fell into this malnutrition. That is why I request from you who can provide help to acquire food. For us it is impossible to buy now foods that were not missing in any house before and that were a basic part of our diet such as cereals, dairy products, meats, fruits, vegetables.
You can see in the pictures what I was like and how I am now, also the jobs I did when I was healthy. Honestly, I am afraid of losing my life.
