Steemit Suicide Awareness Alert !! Lets open our doors to people under depression and suffering in silence - I will lend an ear, you are not alone!!
Let us try our best to stop those souls from taking their lives away, just because they have no one to share their sorrows.
Steemit is an amazing community I have come across till date, we come across many cases in our daily life where people take their lives under sever depression and days of suffering in silence. Most of such cases happen only because those souls were left alone without having anyone to share the sorrows of life. Let us stop that, let us be a reason for someone getting back their life.
Steemit is a platform with lots of social responsibility, let us start this awareness campaign. Who knows we may have that person right next to us. If in case you have something to talk my door is always open. You may reach me on the below mentioned details or in the commenst section below.

There are a lot of people here that I have not met in person but still if you need someone to talk to rather than suffer in silence, I'm available. I want to reassure you are alone in your fight, I will fight with you. What ever happens, happens for good.

The fear of being judged is something that is really hard to get past. I have dealt with my depression in mostly silence for nearly 20 years. I have been too afraid to voice my feelings and afraid of coming across as too emotional and over-dramatic. It is an amazing thing to have a place where you can speak up judgement free. I fully support this as well. Hopefully, it will help others.

Great post @rideofpassion! If only our world was a little more softer this wouldn't happen as often. Mental illness is everywhere and people suffer in silence. This is a very good initiative! I want to be a part of it as well! I'm really new to steemit so I haven't quite figured out how the chat works yet. But I will look into it today! I study psychology, it's only my second year out of five and a half so I can not offer professional help! But I will listen :)
