The rise and the fall of a poetic sailor - Why do I have an amazing life?
As many of you could possibly picture due to the title of this post, I am a sailor and I love to write. Quantity was never my style to begin with here on Steemit, I love to write my posts in proportion to my current mood.
As you can see, only one of my posts was up-voted higher than the others, and it is about music, my second passion. I prefer to say my passion, because when you put something on second place it immediately loses value.
This post will be about my life, my struggle and the true nature behind my writing, my inner inspiration; the stuff that comes to the open once I'm triggered or once I remember some other things that influenced my life one way or the other.
I'll start with all the things that maybe marked my life somehow, the bad things that triggered good emotions after I learnt how to cope with them.
I need to go back to the year 2010. when my mother announced to my family that she is suffering from the last stage of breast cancer, metastatic, of course. (My life taught me that when something is bad, in my case it goes even worse, multiplied by a hundred) It was a struggle, until eventually she gave herself up.
To develop as a human, means to learn from your own mistakes, to learn from your errors. You probably need to ask me; What did I learn from the lost of my mother?
For instance, I learned how to cook, I also learned that we shouldn't take our life for granted, that we should live it to the fullest, you never know when is your time to go.
After that my life has changed a lot, I met my wife, we got a baby, and with everything good, something bad must happen. I was diagnosed with a kidney disease. (Pyeloureteral junction stenosis) As I waited for my surgery, my whole life has passed in front of me. (Hollywood flicks do not lie)
I was at a hospital for about fifteen days, after which I had a endoprosthesis put in my kidney channel, and removed after 60 days.
And today I am grateful that it happened to me. Why? Because I became a better person, I understand life, and I cherish it. I have a capability to see life in a completely different way than I use to. I love it!
Since the bad events in my life I govern myself by five simple rules:
Don't be afraid of failure!
Have empathy towards others!
Never give up!
Be a child, never stop dreaming!
Love, my friend, pure love!
With that of my chest, I am ready. Ready to go the other way, to write about my life again, interesting anecdotes, something that would make you smile. If you smile, or even if you read it, my task here is done.
With all the love and empathy, I am sending you positive thoughts!
Peace!
