Nature and Insects: A Butterfly

A beautiful creation of nature is the butterfly. A Gulf Fritillary butterfly is sitting on a bright yellow flower, collecting nectar. With its orange and black wings against a blue sky, this butterfly is like a living miracle of nature. Butterflies mainly survive by drinking nectar from flowers. While collecting nectar, they move from one flower to another, which plays an important role in pollination of plants. They are mainly seen in open fields, roadsides and gardens. They like to sit in the sun with their wings spread.
