The large garden filled with lush trees, landscapes, slim and elegant architectural styles, textures and Turkey in terms of historical importance with many mansions.  

Today, it is possible to visit most of them because they serve as exhibitions, restaurants or museums.

There are even sultans, caliphs, even those who witnessed the Salvation era.

10 - Made in 19 days: HÜNKAR MANSION / BURSA

The most interesting feature of the hunting mansion built in 1844 in the name of Sultan Abdülmecit was completed in 19 days.

Sultan Abdulaziz, 5th Mehmet Resat and Atatürk stayed here during their visit to Bursa.


It serves as a museum with original items belonging to the period.


9 - Levantine Mansion: BARDISBANIAN MANSION / İZMİR 

This is one of the most famous mansions of the Levantine family, one of the great merchants and riches of the land.

Built-in 1880 by the French Bardisbanian family. Family mansion of the 20th migrated to France in the last hundred years have stayed in the government of Turkey and was later donated to the Ege University.

The mansion, also known as the Green Mansion because of its color, is now living in a place where students are socialized.


8 - Like jewelry: REVAN MANSION / İSTANBUL

The octagonal mansion was built in the Topkapı Palace, 1635 te in memory of the conquest of Sultan 4th Murat In Revan. 

In 1733, a library of highly valuable books was set up in the wooden cabinets of the building.


7 - Atatürk's House: MUSEUM MANSION / ANKARA

This mansion was built at the end of 1800's. After the first president of the Ataturk founded the Republic of Turkey for many years has used the mansion as the presidential palace.

There are many things such as Ataturk's fame, dining room, billiard table and ambassador reception hall.


6 - In the most beautiful place of Istanbul Bosphorus : YUSUF ZİYA PASHA (HAUNTED) MANSION / İSTANBUL

One of the most special locations of Rumelihisari was built by Yusuf Ziya Pasha in 1910's. Today Borusan Contemporary is hosting the Contemporary Art Collection.

Yusuf Ziya Pasha, a very wealthy merchant, besides his masterpiece, wants to build a mansion similar to a chateau at the moment of Rumelihisar. According to the rumor, Yusuf Ziya Pasha is very jealous of his wife and wants no one to see his wife.

Construction started in 1910 and can not be finished due to the economic hardship of Yusuf Ziya Pasha upon the beginning of the First World War. When his wife betrays him, he does not want this construction to end.

People living around the pavilion have been saying for years that a young girl with long blond hair is walking in the vacant rooms of the mansion.

In 1990, workers working in the construction of the mansion claimed that they saw the ghost of a girl with old clothes in the mirror.

For this reason, this mansion is also known as a haunted mansion.
