I'm both saddened and encouraged, reading your post. I'm at both an opposite and similar end of the spectrum you're on. The reason I am going to homeschool my children is not because I myself was homeschooled, but because I was a TEACHER, and I realized I never wanted my children to go through what I watched those kids go through/do to each other.
