Trump, Media, Corporations and the rest of us

Donald Trump is never far from the main stories lines these days.
Whether he is threatening North Korea or suggesting NFL owners should fire players who wish to express their freedom of protest, he seems to be everywhere.
Several players of multiple sports have turned down the traditional opportunity to visit the White House after winning a championship.

Mr. Trump just seems to say the wrong thing at the wrong time more often than Larry David from Curb your enthusiasm.
The media has to share some of the responsibility in his over-exposure.

Lets switch gears and welcome the newest version of the Apple Iphone.
Ahhh Apple Inc with their ingenius way of selling massive amounts of people the same thing they already own.

They have taken a page from the auto industry in terms of releasing clone products yearly, with only a few minor changes.
Every so often we have a social wave that compels people to protest corporations for various reasons.

Where does this motivation go?
It seems to burn hot and fast.

I often wonder if the general public of the US has attention deficit disorder.
Politicians, corporations, news channels, celebrities etc can say and do anything to any degree and seem to be let off the 'hook' quicker and quicker.

It seems that self awareness and personal and social responsibility are lacking these days.
Hopefully we can turn it all around and forge a better future for the generations of the future.
