Sales started on Sunday, July 31, at midnight local time on all planet.


In 140 shops of the British book Waterstones network concerning a premiere of new part of a potteriana there have taken place special parties with competitions at night, including fancy-dress.
With the greatest scope the publication of the book was to the public noted in bookstores of London, Edinburgh and Manchester.
Before July 31 it was reported that in London on a scene of Palace theater there has taken place the premiere of the performance "Harry Potter and Damned Child". A day before receipt in sale of the book in London has taken place a premiere of the performance of the same name. "It will be the modern history created by joint efforts of the writer Jack Thorn, the production director John Tiffany and me" — reported before Joanne Rowling.

The scenario on the basis of Rowling's book was written by the British playwright Jack Thorn, John Tiffany has acted as the director. Representation consisted of two parts and there were about five hours.
Action of the play is developed 19 years later after the events described in the seventh book "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows".
