Who is Pavel Durov?

Pavel Valeryevich Durov is a very successful programmer, entrepreneur and billionaire. And of course he is the developer of the well-known Vkontakte site for each of us. He is a very bright person who, despite all the negative feedback on the Internet about himself, continues to move towards his goal. In addition to the fact that he is not particularly concerned about the opinion of people, Pavel also decides to express his opinion of the Russian authorities. Education

As a young child, Pavel and his family moved to Turin, although he stayed there for a very short time. He enrolled there in the most ordinary school, where he studied for only a few years, after which he moved with his family to Russia. His parents give in a very prestigious gymnasium, in which absolutely all subjects were studied in-depth program. Already in the gymnasium he showed his special knowledge in the field of computer science. In one lesson, Durov in the drawing program wrote in English "Must die" and put it on the desktop on all computers. The teacher tried to restrict access by putting passwords on computers, but Durov did not stop at all. He could hack them for once or twice.
After graduating from high school, which he finished "excellent", the young genius enters the Faculty of Philology at St. Petersburg State University. This choice he made in honor of his father, who is a very famous philologist. But despite his great mind, he never gets his diploma. Paul decided that he did not want a monotonous job for another "uncle," and his diploma would do just that. He leaves his university and begins to develop his own projects.

Initially, they could only register in contact by invitation, which they sent to their friends. And so the very first participant was registered in October 2006. They also planned to name their network "Student.ru", but soon they changed their mind and called it "VKontakte".
