'Life Back Then'

crta.png

I've found this awesome collection of photographs from the sixties. What catches me the most is the notion that an ordinary photo taken on the street can tell so much about the times when it was clicked. This is the beauty of documentary photography. So, I believe that even today, when everyone is clicking all over the place, it still applies. People will look at our photos in a hundred years and learn about our times. An exciting thought.

People surely did have more time back then. Can you sense that from this image?

What was probably completely mundane back then, strikes us as unusual.

Well, this hasn't changed much except the cars are different. On the contrary, it has gotten much worse. :D

Aaaah, a creepy doll. Well maybe not that creepy but I find most of the dolls creepy. :D

Enjoy your day! :)

I LOVE street photography. It really does capture a moment in time and leave it there , like a fly in amber, for you to discover and revisit again and again. I think that's why @winstonalden has been so faithfully documenting his daily commute in 50 years it will feel familiar and also alien at the same time!
I love that doll...but I like creepy dolls :)

I love photography, every time we have the opportunity we take the old photos and move on to those moments captured in time. It's the most, we laugh, we cry because some are no longer with us. . I congratulate you on your publication.

Hi @vilimir you sad that A creepy doll. Well maybe not that creepy but I find most of the dolls creepy. i think it's not a creepy doll it's beautiful , well dressed and splendid doll

all dolls are creepy to me, bro :D :D :D

Oh. It's remind our past...

It's remind our past.

What sort of camera did you use for this?

What type of camera did you use for this?

That's what I like most about photography, when it's captured, or years later, it causes a different impression. Colors, fashions or any detail will attract someone's attention. It is magical to relive moments through a photograph, however simple it may seem.

#velimir is this the real old vintage pic.....because its givesva real effects....!!!
