I saw an old friend this past Friday and our conversation was somewhat awkward. This friend couldn't bother to listen to half of what I was saying, cutting me off, bringing the topic back to himself. It was a bit annoying at the time, but after reading this post, I see that interaction a little differently.

Listening, processing and communicating takes focus and a desire to do it. Most don't.
