The People Who Stay Silent
Not everyone who smiles is happy.
Some people laugh the loudest because they're trying to hide the pain they can't explain. They wake up every morning carrying burdens no one else can see, yet they still choose kindness. They still ask others, "How are you?" even when no one asks them the same question.
Sometimes, the strongest person in the room is the one who cries only when everyone else has gone to sleep.
Life has a way of breaking us in places we never thought could hurt. We lose people we love. We watch dreams disappear. We question our worth. In those moments, it's easy to believe that no one notices.
But every storm eventually runs out of rain.
If today feels heavy, don't give up. Your story is still being written. The chapters filled with pain are not the end of the book. One day, the tears you cry today may become the strength that helps someone else keep going.
So be gentle with yourself.
You don't have to have everything figured out. You don't have to pretend you're okay all the time. Healing takes time, and every small step forward matters.
If no one has told you this today, let me be the one:
You matter. Your life has value. Your presence makes a difference, even if you can't see it right now.
Keep going. The world still needs the light that only you can bring.
