Let's take a look how much we addicted to our smartphone

in #lifestyle7 years ago

Smartphones took over our lives – we wake up to the alarm set on our phone, we read the news on our phone, we talk to our friends online, we check social media platforms a hundred times a day, phones guide us in traffic, we watch videos and movies on our phones and, at the end of the day, we fall asleep with our phone in our hand.

The results of a recent study made by Ipsos company, at the request of Huawei, have shown that most of the people feel lost without their smartphone. Additionally, most teenagers have declared themselves to be addicted to their smartphones. We’ve gotten to a point in which we spend most of our lives online.

The fact that we spend so much time on our phones is not the worst problem. The worst part of this is that technology addiction puts our life in danger. We all know that the blue light from phone screens affects us in a negative way, but many people admit that they checked their messages in traffic.

Long story short, we put our lives in danger consciously.
In the context in which we use our phones from the moments we wake up and until we fall asleep, Huawei launched the Addicted To You campaign, which encourages people to put their phones aside and interact more with people around.

Addicted to you is an app through which you can make a statement for a loved one with a photo. A lot of people went to Huawei stores and written messages for their close ones.

We should all follow this example and tell someone how much we care about them – a friend, a parent or a partner. We have to replace our addiction to smartphones with love for people. Nothing will ever make you happier than raising your eyes from your phone and enjoying the beauty of life.

Life is short, maybe it’s time to appreciate it and more importantly, to appreciate those around us...

This is a great post. I am a victim myself, I'm hooked to my phone that beginning to get scared. No enough time fory books and others, my phone takes it all.

P.S. I don't really understand what the Huawei campaign has to do with cell phone addiction or maybe it's just a marketing strategy.

Nice info too bad that is true and we should really appreciate more those who are arround us
