No do not buy. Anything to do with Eth mining do not buy. There is a few reasons. Very soon the DAG file will increase making some cards unable to mine ETH and other cards will take a 30% hit in mining performance. I believe anything above 8gig ram will be fine. But do your own research.

There will be a massive dump in eth mining gear very very soon. Some of it will become almost worthless.
