Litecoin boom - is $100 achievable in 2017
Morning steemit world.
So here in the UK Litecoin hit an all time high last night, which has left me thinking 2 things why the big increase in the last few days? and not will litecoin reach $100 but how quickly??
The last 7 days have been nothing but good news for Litecoin so i will definitely be holding out on what i currently have, i am just struggling with buying and getting the best value (best downswing)
What are peoples thoughts on a crash before another high?
My knowledge is pretty limited so i am reaching out to the steemit community for help, i would like to start a thread so all links and comments are welcome to help expand my knowledge.

I'm just patiently waiting until it starting gaining capital on the exchange. I can remember when it was selling for less than $10 a coin. Just wish I had the discipline to keep the ones I sold. You live and you learn but I can't wait to see a lot of these coins grow. The key is not to focus solely on one coin but more so to get a nice collection of the top 50 coins on the marketcap site.
Hi @slickhustler007 i am new to cryptocurrency so haven't felt the pain of holding some coins at a super low price then watch the price go crazy, Thanks for the advice i will defiantly be looking to expand for portfolio, any recommendations for the less known coins?

Right now the spotlight is on litecoin, that is of the cryptoes sold on coinbase.
The possability of a hardfork in bitcoin and the news from MIT all coming Aug1. I think litecoin goes to about 120. 00 by then.
Then it settles back down to say 90 after the news,soon after it resumes a slower uptrend.

I wrote a post about my own view on the whole bubble thing, specially concerning ICOs. My point is very simple, if each one of us do not make their part, we can ruin the party. If we get enough bad examples out on the street we'll sure piss off a bunch of regulators and traditional investors, and that will likely limit the whole of crypto and blockchain economy's growth.
About the big currencies themselves, I shared my view on this post comparing the money sizes.

If you don't know a lot about trading the best strategy is to just buy the same amount every week. For example 50$ worth each friday. This is a good strategy for a long term perspective :)

Litecoin has been progressively moving upwards this year and with ATH breached recently, no psychological barriers appear to be present at the moment. Its all good news for Litecoin lately. However, there is a lot of competition in attention by numerous new coins being ICO'd. I have no feeling on how that is going to pan out over time.

I thing that its pretty reachable cause litecoin keeps on decreasing and now it could get higher and higher
This is my thought too, so i am thinking of purchasing more LTC, it makes it harder to do so while at a all time high though :/
But would you be thinking of buying if it was at all time lows.

When bitcoin becomes too expensive, I think litecoin Will be used for day to day transactions. It has the segwit activated and it's a nice technology blockchain
