LitePay launch: LitePay cards will not be issued, official launch at 9 pm Pacific Time
In this LitePay news update, we look at the latest announcement about the LitePay release. According to an email sent out to users, LitePay has said that it will not be releasing the LitePay debit cards at the moment while the LitePay Merchant Payment Processing account will go live at 9 pm Pacific time today. LitePay has deemed LitePay card registrations imprudent since card issuers have been hostile towards crypto companies. They will launch the LitePay cards once they feel confident that the card services can be supported reliably.

Investors have obviously expressed disappointment as there was a lot of buzz surrounding the LitePay release. Many are even expecting the Litecoin prices to come down after this announcement. We think one more important criteria which will affect the prices of Litecoin will be the merchants who sign up with LitePay. If a couple of big names implement LitePay or even express interest, the LTC price can still see an upward movement.
In our opinion, the best approach for investors would be to wait and watch before making any investment decisions since Litecoin price can be volatile following the announcement.
