❤ What successful people don't do ❤
When I refer to success, I am not referring to how much money you’ve made, rather how successful you are at living the life you want. What brings you happiness is different from everyone. There is no right or wrong way to obtain it, but I’ve noticed that people who lead successful happy lives don’t do the following....
Complain and blame others
People who complain about how life is not fair, often have the victim mentality. The idea that your circumstances are the result of others wrong doings, make you feel helpless and not in control.
Of course, life is not always fair, but whining about it doesn’t make it any better. We are all dealt a set of cards, but it is up to us to determine how we want to play our cards. Work with what you got, because we all have different talents. Instead of playing the blame game, take responsibility for your mistakes and learn from them.
Become Complacent
When you are to comfortable with you’re life, you may start to feel stagnant. Constant growth and learning new things will keep your mind stimulated and it helps you stay excited about life. Don’t wait for change to happen if your unhappy, make the change.
Become unfocused
It is easy to get distracted and forget about our goals. Being too busy is a bad thing because you can get overwhelmed and you could be spreading yourself too thin. Remind yourself of your goals and where you want to go in life, and then head out in that direction.
Resist change
The beauty of life is that it is chaotic and unpredictable. Being okay to go with the flow will help you adapt better. As a friend once said to me, “when life comes at you, you just need to learn how to pivot in the moment.”

I'll tell you something interesting. I used to be rich. I was a systems analyst with a beautiful wife and a beautiful life and then I lost it all about 10 years ago. I have been slowly rebuilding and I realized that being rich doesn't just mean having money. It means doing what makes you happy and for me that is writing stories and travelling if I have the money. So I'm trying to make it this way even though it means working at a restaurant for now. I don't love my immediate life but I know the future will be brighter than it was before.

Too often people fight so hard to earn money and materials and once they get there they discover emptiness . I just spoke about this actually lol. I have an easy time overwhelming myself sometimes :/ it's important to push through and stay focused ! Thankyou for your article .

We have a lot more control of our lives than we sometimes believe. Positive thinking and making the most of the opportunities life has to offer is a great way to escape our own mental prisons.

A lot of people complain cos that`s all they know what to do.
They think this is life. They have been caught, crushed and spat out by a devious system.
Say I gave you a paintbrush and a piece of paper just now.
Listen I am no saint.
So just paint me the life you ain`t.
It is like if Dracula started drinking my blood just now.
It does not matter if Dracula drinks all my 9 pints of blood.
It ain`t gonna fill Dracula up with my love!
