When your ex wants you and hurts you badly

Just imagine this scenario. Think about what you are about to read and consider what you would do.

A man lost his job six months ago during an internal weed out of staffs for lack of sufficient funds. There was a wide spread rumour prior to the retrenchment and his boss had assured him he was safe. It was therefore a surprise when he received his sack letter.

He left his office down casted and has since struggled to survive. He searched for another job to no avail and tried running a business which drained him of money. The man got fed up, as he ran into debts and sat home most times worrying. He had no one to feasibly call for help and hated himself for his dependency on his parents for his daily survival.

His boss at work recently showed him the picture of the man who influenced his sack. The man's face was familiar, he was one of the three middle aged men dating his ex. His former boss told him the man who was a close friend to the chairman of the company, had called for his sack in the mass retrenchment.

Shortly before then, his ex had been texting him. She offered to help him through his difficult period and see him bounce back. He confronted her with an allegation of influencing his sack and she confirmed it. She complained about him breaking her heart and causing her so much hurt when he ended their relationship. She said she did it for love, just to have him back.

All was fine with their relationship until he found some strange pictures on her phone. She worked as a front desk officer in a five-star hotel and was in romantic relationships with three customers who were rich businessmen. When he found out, he accused her of infecting him with STD's and was extremely hurt because he had no side chick. He had always wondered how she made more money than he did and she had responded to his accusation by claiming to seek for funds to start her fashion hub.

He feels very distraught because he now realizes she’s about the only person ready to help. She calls him every day begging him to love her again and promises to set him up if they could pick up and continue from where they stopped.

She now runs a pretty booming fashion hub and occasionally pay him visits though he never accepts any of her gifts.
Now he feels stuck, broke and he's not sure if he should have her back especially when he knows she still dates those three business tycoons, though she promises to leave them soon and stick to him.
