REASONS WHY SINGLES MUST STAY SEXUALLY PURE AND AVOID PREMARITAL SEX BEFORE MARRIAGE.

Introduction:
It's God's will that you should be Sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control his own body in a way that is holy and honourable, not in passionate lust like the heathen, who do not know God. (1 Thessalonians 3:4-5).

When single ladies engage themselves in premarital sex, it means you're giving the guy free what he hasn't paid for because they haven't pay for your bride-price, your parents have not bless you and you have not been properly married.
If you were to be the parent of such girl, how will you feel when you find out? Let alone your father in Heaven.

God created sex no doubt, it even existed before there was any sin in the world. It wasn't created by Satan rather by God of heaven, where purity reigns.
Sexual purity is not an option for an obedient Christian, it's a requirement. Therefore, this night, we must dialogue and see reasons why singles must stay sexually pure and avoid premarital sex.

Conclusion:
Having sex outside of marriage is self-destructive in every sense. Sexual purity is always the best not only for God and others, but for you.

God made sex physically desirable by creating us with sex drives, without which sex would not exist and neither would reproduction(people). But sex is created for marriage relationship and NOT single relationship.

Sex is designed for sacred union of Marriage, and God reserves it for that union. It is both the means by which children are conceived and means by which marital intimacy is expressed and cultivated.

Marriage and Sex goes together, the boundaries of sex is the boundaries of marriage. Singles must therefore understands the fact that there is need for them to wait, the wait worth it. Sex is not meant for singles until they're married.
When married it is only for your wife, it is only for your husband, not any other Mistress or Mister outside wedlock.

Sex is something everyone can abstain from. It is a strong desire but never an emergency, just avoid the occasion.

Here are the Reasons, why singles must stay sexually pure and avoiding premarital Sex:

1.} Your body belongs to God (Temple of God) not to yourself - Don't disappoint your Lord:
When you came to Christ, when you affirmed him as Lord of your life, you surrendered your entire self including your body to God.
Christ owns you and your entire body as a single brother or sister. Hear me Sir/Ma,You are bought and paid for. Your body is really his body. He paid the ultimate price for it which is; HIS BLOOD. We are His by virtue of his creation and his redemption.

God has every right to tell you what to do with your mind and body. You have no right to whatever you want with what belongs to God.
God doesn't want you to have premarital sex. It's a sin if you indulge yourself in premarital sex.

You are not your own; You were bought at a price. Therefore honour God with your body (1 Corinthians 6:20)

2.} Lust and fornication are sins:
God made fornication a sin. On the outside it seems like a lot of fun to have sex and to flirt with the feelings of lust. No one is really hurting anyone right? Wrong! Sex before marriage always hurt someone. God's desire is for single people, young and old is to remain sexually and emotionally pure for marriage. When young couples go into marriage with such purity and anticipation for one another, the marriage thrives.

3.} Virginity is a precious Gift to bring to your Spouse: It is a special and precious gift of love and purity to share yourself only with the one you married. It creates the "One flesh" of marriage even more beautiful and sacred. But perhaps some of us have erred and not a virgin anymore, God still loves us and wants us to have a blessed marriage.
Ask for forgiveness and turn away from that attitude and flee from temptation, don't give yourself away.
Virginity is cool, it is godly and courageous to do so, loosing it before marriage is not cool.

4.} The risk of pregnancy (Possibility of unwanted pregnancy which can lead to abortion:
Children are precious, beautiful people of God. Bringing children out of wedlock is not fair to the child or you. Terminating our unborn child is not fair to them either.

It is always best and God's ideal for single women to not have children and remain sexually abstinent until marriage. Then, when you are ready to have a child, financially, emotionally and spiritually, God will bless you with Children.

5.} Serious Sexual Transmitted Diseases:
One can contact STDs such as HIV/Aids, Staphylococcus, Gonorrhea etc. from premarital sex which is dangerous to our healths and can even leads to death.

6.} The mental images of your sexual sin that can plague you:
When you choose to have sex, you are not only bringing two bodies together, you are joining two hearts, two souls and two spirits.
You feel connection with someone you have sex with, whether you like it or not and that mental images will keep plaguing you.

This is why some breakups are so hard to take, so hard to get over. It's why you may still be stuck on your ex. But by choosing to stay pure, you can avoid all that.

7.} Being a Bad example to family or friends:
How many of us will want to be the "black sheep" to our family? the answer is nil. We all want to be good example, good ambassadors to our families, therefore we must stay sexually pure, we must avoid premarital sex to remain that good child our parents are proud of.

8.} Hindrances of Marriage produced by premarital sex:
Many men and women are suffering in their marital homes ranging from damaged womb, to infertility etc because they had engage themselves in premarital sex.
More so, no one will be happy to marry a second class, say single mother, baby mama, A man with kids outside wedlock etc.

9.} Love grows cold in such relationship:
Research has proven that once some single partner have sex, their love for one another depreciates, it diminish and becomes cold.
Why risk such feeling when you should have keep it and remain priceless. Your partner may also think you are cheap and will likely give it to another person because of the way they easily receive it from you.

10.} Greater possibility of extramarital sex(Adultery) among singles who have had premarital sex :
Fornication begets adultery. When you are fond of having sex every now and then as a single Man/Woman, there is greater possibility of still doing thesame when you get married.
Therefore, you must avoid it now so that you will not find yourself having extramarital sex(Adultery) when eventually you tie the knot.
