Steemit Challenge Season 29,W-5 |Creative Insect macro videography

As you might be aware, it's not easy to capture flies especially in this season so I had to make long videos and then edit them to keep in lit of a reasonable length.

As I said, I tried my best but it's just the beginning the Spring Season in India so this insect we know as hoverfly, or if wish you can call it a Drone Fly.

This fly is known for mimicking bees with single pair of wings and fuzzy thorax, yellow-and-black banded abdomen, large, dark compound eyes is beneficial pollinators and the best thing is it does not sting so I went close..

The one you see here is a female common drone fly This fly is on a common marigold flower.

The fly in the image 115658 bumblebee fly which is an insect with a robust, hairy body. It's almost like hoverflies, but it mimic the appearance of bees to avoid predators.

This fly is also important pollinator that collects nectar and pollen from flowers like the marigolds seen in the image.

They have specialized structures called pollen baskets on their hind legs for this purpose. During the Spring Season in India these are the only ones besides home flies.

The fly or bee in this image 115639 is a Western honey bee seen resting on the flower of a crown daisy coronaria, or what we call florist's daisy.

Last but not the least the fly in the image 120337 is commonly known as a long-legged fly which has metallic green or bronze body, and the one in this picture also has green eyes. this predator that help control garden pests such as aphids and mosquito larvae, making them beneficial insects for gardeners.

As you can see this fly rest with its front legs raised, ready to strike their prey.
