#marty-mail - look what I received in the mail!

About three weeks ago @marty-art wrote a post in which he offered to send one of his original art work to anyone who send him some SBD (depending on the amount of SBD of course). He called this the #marty-mail experiment. Since I had thoroughly enjoyed participating in a Vagabonds contest that @marty-art had organized previously related to his art I trusted this to be genuine and I was happy to join his experiment. And thus I send him 10SBD. Since I have shipped my own art internationally I realized the potential high costs so I let him know it was fine to send me just a small piece of art. About 10 days after he let me know that he had send a package on its way I received it in my mailbox; that's not bad for a delivery from Belgium to a small mountain town in Northern California!

_{BTW, that delivery was last week. I took a week off of social media to be with my family during spring break:)}

Inside the package was a neatly wrapped surprise:

I was very happy to discover not one but two paintings, in matching style:

On the back of the paintings, they have a short description.
The painting on the right is Monica, the finalist in @marty-art's season 2 of The Vagabonds interactive game. Since she was the protagonist in a large part of my comments on the game I'm really happy to have received this particular painting.
The painting on the left is Victoria, I assume from the first season of the Vagabonds game?

Again, I'm very happy that I received a matching pair since a lot of the art works in my home is in series of two or more. Having printed and hanged (is that the right word?) many of my own photography-related and digital work, I had a bit of a challenge to find a spot to hang these precious little pieces but I found a good location.

Many thanks to @marty-art for sending me these original paintings. With the current value of SBD I suspect that the 10SBD I send him originally wasn't even (or barely) enough to cover the mailing costs :(. I hope the price will soon rise again!
@marty-art, I greatly appreciate your art and they are in a good home now!
