Xiaomi Mi A2 Price, launch date, specifications, and many more

Xiaomi recently released a video teaser on its official website and hints at the upcoming launch. Top speculated smartphones that could be launched are Mi A2 or Mi Max 3. Mi 6X was launched in China back in April this year and its rebranded Android One-based version Mi A2 will be launched globally.

The Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi also claimed to sold over 1 million units of the Mi Band 3 within 17 days of launch. While on the other hand, Mi Band 3 Explorer Edition with transparent wrist-band has been spotted online.

Going by the official teaser released, the first 20-second video shows a Mi Home offline store where lights go off and a smartphone box drops on to the shelf with a text "A gift from the future" followed by the June 28 reveal date.

Some reports also suggest that the company will host a global event in Madrid, Spain on July 24, where it is expected to unveil the Mi A2. Last year, the Mi A1 was launched at a 'global event' in New Delhi. We believe that in the coming days, the company could reveal further details about the launch.

Mi 6X (Mi A2) specifications, features

The new Xiaomi Mi 6X will sport a 5.99-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio and narrow bezels on the sides, with looks similar to the Redmi Note 5 Pro which was launched few months by the company. Mi 6X will be powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 660 SoC and Adreno 512 GPU paired up with 6GB RAM and up to 128GB internal storage.

For photography, the smartphone will sport AI integrated cameras for improved photos. The Mi 6X has a 20-megapixel camera selfie camera while on the back it will have dual camera setup of 12 MP+ 20MP primary cameras with phase-detection autofocus and dual-tone LED flash.

The dual-SIM smartphone will run MIUI 9.5 software, based on Android 8.1 Oreo and will be backed by a 3010mAh, with support for QuickCharge 3.0.

For connectivity options it includes 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, Miracast, Bluetooth 5.0, IR emitter, USB Type-C port.

Xiaomi MI A2 will be available in all-metal body, dual speakers on the bottom, and comes in five colour options — Red,

Gold, Rose Gold, Blue, and Black.

Xiaomi 6X for 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,599 which roughly calculated to Rs. 16,900, while the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage will cost CNY 1,799 which is approximately Rs. 19,000, while the top end Mi 6X variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at CNY 1,999 which calculated around Rs. 21,000.

If Mi Max 3 is concerned, previous leaks suggest that the smartphone will feature a massive 6.9-inch full-HD+ display powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC paired up with 6GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of internal storage.
