Faith in Your Own Ability and Competence is More Important Than Hope in Your Circumstance...

Everything that happens in your life is either a product of circumstance or a result of your own competence.
However hard we try, we are always susceptible to the causality of our world. Meaning that whatever you do, some things are just out of your reach and influence. That is why some people claim that we are all, one way or another, victims of circumstance and chance.
While calling the causality of this creation ‘chance’ is misleading and fallacious, you understand the general idea of what I want to convey here; The power of our control on our surrounding world is limited.
While we obviously have no power over certain elements of our life, it is unfair to assume that we are victims of chance. In this regard, I wish to tell you a metaphorical story that perfectly captures my philosophy and approach to competence and chance.
There was once a fox in a forest far away. The fox was in the habit of climbing trees and finding his prey from above the ground. One day, when he was setting his ambush spot on a branch, it shattered and the fox fell on the ground and broke his ribs.
That was a lesson which came at a price. He no longer tried to climb any trees, for there was always the chance of the branches breaking and putting his life at risk.
He eventually came upon a bunch of birds who were sitting idly on a branch. That sight baffled him, for the birds did not share his fear of falling in such whirlwind of causality.
‘Are you not afraid of falling down if the branch cracks?’ He asked those birds.
‘Not at all.’ One of the birds replied.
‘But there is always a chance of that happening,’ the fox said in agony. ‘How can you not be afraid?’
‘Because our faith lies not with the strength of the branch upon which we settle, but our ability to fly.’ One of them answered again.
Hope in circumstance was never enough for the birds, as their faith in their ability of flight was all that they relied on. We may not have control over the fracturing of the branches of our life, but we can always rely on our own ability, competence, and vigilance to save us from the danger of this random causality.
So, it may be an undeniable truth that some factors and occurrences of our life are not truly in our hands, and we have no power or influence over them, but we HAVE power over our own competence and abilities.
We can learn to fly even in the most hazardous environments. We can prepare for even the worst scenarios that could befall us.It is important that against such causality, we see ourselves not as victims of chance and circumstance, but as heroes of faculty and proficiency.
As hard as it may be to believe, at the end of the day, we are the ones who can steer our life in certain directions and decide our fate.

Faith in your abilities and in your goals helps increase our self-confidence, deal with problems and stress. We need to show faith in our internal powers. Our abilities and Competence in extreme circumstances provide us strength. Those who have written in destiny will come away, this kind of thinking keeps a loose mentality, while those who believe in their abilities and ability, they change the destiny themselves. This message is not under our control, but the Competence and ability to deal with them are within us. In an odd conditions, the navigator swimes his boat and brings it to the shore. This is proof of his ability and Competence.

There is a very spectacular motorized story. And rightly you said that many incidents in our lives are not in our power. But we must trust ourselves.
It is not that such incidents happen to be repeated with us. But if we trust ourselves, we will easily get rid of it.

Foxes and birds differ in abilities and characteristics. In my understanding, it's in the capacity of one how to be resilient in any circumstances to make him victorious or defeated. Your ability is just an indicator of what you can achieve. It's the law of capacity, you can just handle what you have able to do. Don't blame your circumstances, it's up to you how you would respond in any challenges of life.

Thanks! Faith in our ability is self-confidence. Hoping in our circumstances is relying on others. Though failures are imminent, we can leap by faith in our ability with a calculated risk.

@chbartist Faith is our own property but only we should know how and when i have to use it , because fate sometimes works but if you have faith no one can stop you success.
There have a word, "Such is the result of such action", it's indicate to faith on our ability and competence, and hardly believe this, if i worked anything hardly and with confidence the result will be positive. One's ability depends on his competence and competence make him over confident to get a good result for his work. It's a very positive thinking that be faith on our ability and competence, because it is the only way that we can success in life.

We must always be able to generate an answer to any situation to be able to act before any causality. This deserves to be able also to make quick decisions so as not to stay behind regretting us for being stuck in the circumstance that is happening.

I surely agree that all these and many other factors influence the path of every individual, the most contributing factor to achieving something significant is self-belief. Without this key ingredient, there’s not a lot that could help you.
The biggest difference I’ve noticed between successful people and unsuccessful people isn’t intelligence or opportunity or resources. It’s the belief that they can make their goals happen.
To put yourself on the track to success, you need to understand that your brain always plays against you. It doesn’t care about your big goals, the only thing it wants is to keep you alive. Therefore, we experience procrastination, self-doubt, negative thinking, anxiety and so on. The sure-fire way to overcome these obstacles is to not believe in them and truly believe in yourself.
