Can anyone help me? I get the error cannot find boost libraries when I run this command.

cmake -DBOOST_ROOT="$BOOST_ROOT" -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release .
make
I am running Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

I have environment variables set
export BOOST_ROOT=$HOME/boost_1_60_0
export BOOST_LIBRARYDIR=$HOME/boost_1_60_0

Any help please??
