Should I get the new RADEON RX VEGA 64 8G HBM2 HDMI / TRIPLE DP for mining ?

Recently I've receive a lot of messages and discussion over the new RX VEGA 64 which is being release to the market soon. It has been a dilemma for all as should we get it for mining or not as the price is relatively expensive. There has been some rumors that it is not up to par as a test on the frontier edition was a bit disappointing and here is the features and result posted at 1stminingrig whereby they tested the card and gotten the following result :

As you can see its not much better than the current 1080ti by Nvidia. So its a bit disappointing . Furthermore there are always the driver issues when a new card is released and to make matter worse as far as we can tell it is a power hungry card and the heat disposition is terrible. All there issues some of the major aspect for a mining rig to be considered when building a mining rig as it determines how many GPU can you install in a rig and which leads back to matter of costing. What's more it is to my understanding that most of the current mining programs does not support this GPU which means limited type of coins that you can mine with it as you cannot fully utilities the function on this card. Another important part that you have to consider is that most miner software to has yet to be able to use the HBM2 memory which is one of the selling point of getting a VEGA. So my verdict is to wait for a better version or the miners has updated their software. As it is now you are paying so much more to get a result which you can get at a fraction of the cost.

It is just my opinion and I might be wrong the result was gotten from a working card which does not work great as a miner card. So further testing is required or a better driver and miner is available. I'll just stand at the side line and wait for a clearer picture before I try this card as I still prefer my lovely current AMD and Nvidia cards.
