My Best Investment Yet! 100X Return. You Can Also Do This!

in #money7 years ago (edited)

Okay so first of all, this is a small investment of around $10 in yourself, and it will allow you to earn more money every day. You're not going to get mega rich in one day, but if you work more efficiently every day, this can yield amazing results long term.

As always you can watch the video and read the blog or do both!

Investing

I'm sure you've heard of bitcoin exploding, yes if you would have bought bitcoin years ago and held on you would be a rich mofo today. However, you probably didn't. Investing $10 in yourself by getting way more organised, which then in turn allows you to produce an extra hourly wage a day ranging between $5 - $100 seems like an amazing investment opportunity. If you're really looking for amazing returns this is probably the best and safest way to get them. Imagine that investing $10 in a planner like this, or even less by buying a legal pad, can yield you $1000 return in a couple of months, simply by becoming more efficient.

Too Busy?

I hear it all the time: "I should get more organised but I don't have time to learn how to do that". This is a vicious circle. If you won't invest a little bit of money and time into getting more organised and more efficient this is an amazing waste. Think of it as making sure your tires are at the right pressure, you can save $100's a year in gas bills by simply checking your tires once every month. Are you too busy to do that? Possibly, yet it is also one of the best investments possible when you look at minutes in and dollars out. The same goes for planning your day. It takes 5 minutes and will save you hours, as long as you keep yourself accountable.

6 Targets

I hear this everywhere, it is not my idea, yet I have tried it out and it works really good. I pick 2-3 large tasks a day, 2-3 medium tasks and 1 or 2 really important small things.

My to do list for a day could look like this:

  • Create a Steemit post (2 hrs)
  • Reply to all Steemit comments (1.5 hrs)
  • Edit 2 piano lessons (2.5 hrs)
  • Call my accountant about tax returns (2 min)
  • Practise and record piano cover (1hr)
  • Update panpiano.com (15min)

Execute

Now here is the thing, these are the 6 most important things I can do to grow my business today. Some of them are large, some of them are small, yet for today I cannot think of anything more important than these goals. Therefore when I 'catch' myself doing something else, even though it may be very useful, it is not the most important and therefore I have to finish the list first. So let's say I'm replying to customer emails, though useful, it wasn't on the list for today, so I should call my accountant first, update my website etc before I get to do something else.

Discipline

This will take a bit of discipline in the beginning, and yes you may screw up a couple of times by selecting the wrong things on your list. It will though give your razor sharp focus on what is important in your business, or if you're still studying, at what your most important goals are to get that diploma. If you're a stay at home dad or mom, how to get the house tidied-up etc. It takes effort and discipline yet it gives you accountability and something to hold on to. It makes it so that you exactly know what you should and shouldn't be doing at any given time.

Give it a Try!

Give it a try, buy a fancy planner, or use a sticky-note it doesn't matter, as long as you just select 6 items that are most important for the day. What are the 6 most important things you can do today? Is there anything else you can imagine that is more important? No? Cool, write them down, and execute! Remember to mark down what you've done!

Original comment. Thanks for commenting! I would suggest you read the post, and put 'commenting mark is stupid' as one of your 6 priorities of the day :) apparently there is not much else you do all day.. Haha

Well... I won't lie, you kinda fucked up with bots lol.
And it didn't work out to make it look better than it was.

But you have a great potential to be a popular vlogger.
You are kinda handsome and already made a great job to make your videos look good.
That's why people are hating on you. They can't do the same. And attack you thanks to the perfect opportunity thanks to your fuckup with bots lmao.

Don't listen to trolls, their asses are on fire, like that one nobody @cloudloser or whatever his name, no one cares anyway. Just fix your stuff, be honest and people will love you.
Cheerz.

Hey @crypto-nella thanks for your feedback. Yeah I'm going to back-off the bots quite a bit, with just a few SBD a day to promote the post around a bit, but not bombarding it with 100's haha

I'm really new to steemit and I'm trying out different stuff, apparently this (using the bots) doesn't work so I'm now going on with some new tactics :) thanks!

Bots can work (@minnowbooster, @postpromoter and @smartsteem).
But not right now. Currently, you can't get profit from bots because steem token is higher than 3$.

If you pay 5$ to a bot. You get around 10$ upvote (On average).

If bot upvotes you 30 minutes later after the creation of the article, 25% of the rewards goes back to the bot (If it's in the first 30 mins it's 0-25% depending on the time). But bots almost always upvote you later so you lose 25% of the rewards.

Now let's count: 10 x 0.75 = 7.5$
7.5$ is half in SP and half in sbd.
(BTW You don't get 3.75 SP, it's actually 3.75/steem-current-price).
7.5/2 = 3.75 sbd + 3.75 / Steem-Current-Price (Which is about 3.6 now).

Have fun :D

You're a poo poo head.

If I'm so stupid why do you keep on wasting your 'smart time' on me? You really must have nothing better do right?

Erm I'm dumb too?

I told you that I would use way less bots. First of all, these aren't bots, these are resteems. Where posts are being resteemed. That is something completely different. Why should people not promote their posts. How do you think companies promote their products? By buying ads. That is how it works. That is how you get more eyeballs on your posts. So instead of spending 200 SBD today I'm only spending 25 SBD and seeing how that influences things. I'm sure I'm dumber than you. We will see who can gain more growth percentage wise in this year. Let's catch up again April 25th 2019 and let's have a look at how things stand at that day.

What are you selling? Goofy hats?

If you cannot see what I am 'selling' that is because I am not selling. I'm offering.

Also, let me share a little tip with you, if you up vote your own comments, don't upvote fresh comments, the money will be sitting there 7 days, why not up vote a post 6 days old, so you get the returns in SP the next day, which you can then use to up vote again with more STEEMPOWER?

Okay I've spent my 25 SBD now let's see what happens.

*edit: those who never try new things will never experience something new either ;)

Hey, you don't need a paper planner, but scheduling your day is a must. I use Google Calendar and Keep to organize my tasks and goals all the way down to the daily ones. It's all about efficient use of time of course.

I'm always trying to find ways to save time or do more in the same amount of time, and I also make sure I'm wasting the least amount possible. What do I mean by wasting?

Well, that would be doing things that don't improve myself or others. It is a similar definition to yours. I used to play video games for example. How could I really justify it? There's no good excuse for them. I have children, and I would sometimes play games with them.

Should they be wasting time playing games though? Wouldn't both of our times be better spent doing fun things together that also improve them or other people? Sure, that is a better use of our time together than playing video games.

The main problem most people have though is that they simple don't care about wasting their time. Slowly over the years I've learned more and more to not waste my time. At first it was not fully understood. A good example is back in 2001 I completed a ton of studying and 7 or 8 exams to get my MCSE in Windows 2000.

While working towards that goal, I was still playing EverQuest and World of War Craft. How much more could I have accomplished though if I had not been playing the games? Yes, I got the one goal done, but I could have done so much more.

As humans we tend to easily come up with excuses to do less and not achieve our goals. It is a constant battle we must fight with ourselves though. There's no one else to blame but yourself for failure too. I am surrounded by people who blame everything but themselves.

My main life motto is "stop playing or watching the part of a hero, and be one instead." It sums up the understanding I have gained through life. Is what you are doing improving yourself or others? You're wasting your valuable time then.

Speaking of time, it is our most valuable resource. The better you can manage it, the more successful you'll be. I have managed my time pretty well in the last 20 years, but I could have always done more.

Planning my day makes sure that process always improves too.

A person on steemit recently asked a simple question. They asked, "If you could go back and tell your 18yo self one thing, what would it be?" My answer is very simple and didn't require much contemplation...

Stop wasting time!

P.S. I wouldn't waste your time replying to bots or haters either. Just ignore them. :)

Promote away. Great tips. I need to get better at prioritizing tasks.

One day I will be the boss and all the bullshit will have zero priority and will never get done because it really does not matter. Dream big and reach for the stars.

Thanks @slider2990 I'm happy to hear you agree with prioritising your task better. It is so important to make sure we get the most out of our day!

Some small links to your planner or good planner that yyou know of would be a cool addition to the article to make it a one time stop to begin with investing in your self. Maybe even Amazon links or just your own ? what do you think ?

Yes good idea @kalif I don't sell this planner so I cannot refer to that but I will add a link to grant cordon's planner.

Can I know your name? Friends. There is also a matter of what the investment is. It is not quite clear. Is it a point of investing in robots? I think your method is very good. Can you teach me in detail?

我可以知道你的名字吗朋友。还有那个投资是怎么一回事,有点不太明白,是不是投资点赞机器人,我觉得你的方法挺好的,可以详细的教教我吗?

@abcallen no you invest by buying a little book, or a little planner and make sure you keep track of your priorities during the day. This way you invest like $10 and 5 minutes per day in yourself, and will yield great returns because you are way more effective at what you do :)

This way, I'm sorry, but what I lack most now is money. I have more time. If I say that I invest every day, I don't have so much money!

这样啊,很抱歉,我现在最缺的就是钱,时间我多的是,如果说每天进行投资,我没那么多钱!

Best investment you have made in your life?? :-D I love Cardone as well :)

Thanks @tinadahmen yeah Grant is really cool! :)

I like this post alot. I'm new to steemit and can definitely understand and support th need to get organized. Anyone can do it, but not everyone wants to. I use a small erase white board to do the same thing with important tasks and a couple affrimations for extra motivation juice.

Thanks for the share man :)

@lordspvce ah that's great to hear! :) Yeah I used to have a white board as well but I moved to a new house and the walls are made of paper so I haven't been able to hang it yet I should really look into that as well!
