Hi Greg, as much as I respect you. Calling for a flagging campaign isn't a good idea. This sort of thing usually doesn't turn out well, take it from me. Again, I'm a big fan and wishing you all the best.
Thank you for your opinion on at least attempting to make steemit a place where all opinions are heard. Greg has even flagged posts at my personal blog that made no mention of him at all. I'd be happy to have a discussion with Greg but he won't allow it...as he does not believe in an "open" forum.
I have been asking these guys to please stop for months. I have offered them friendship, build their channels, offered to help them in any way they want however they will not stop. Not just on Steemit, but on all my social networks. These guys have cursed out, and bad mouthed hundreds of my subs for months. Despite this I have asked told them I hold nothing against them and let's stop but they will not. I see you gave him a protective upvote. That's fine, but you should consider, or at least know better, who you are protecting.
Tell me what was trolling about the tutorial I gave today about the "time premium" considerations of options trading please.

FIrst off, Why dont you go mind yourself if you dont like Greg. I'm sure you have better things to do. If you dont like him, go away !!! We all invest different, so find the crowd who likes the way you do things. Stop the Trolling BS, it's low class.

If I knew that everyone who follows Greg had a complete understanding of the type of trading he does then I likely would go mind myself. My biggest problem with the way "the program" was being presented was that it could have made Greg's followers actually think trading options is as easy as he makes it seem. He wasn't providing "disclosure" on teh trades he was posting so that people could actually find out whehter it was easy or not. I simply offered to provide a glimpse into the "real" world of that kind of trading. I understand that 90% of Greg's listeners are going to remain loyal even if he was the worst trader in the world. For the 10% that "actually" want to learn the way options trading "really" is...well let's get to the "learning" part and cut through the bs. My blog is always available to anyone who wants to see how things happen in teh "real" world of options trading. I won't say "I'm doing great!"...if in fact I actually am not. And you will know exactly where I stand at all times. Because I give full disclosure on every trade or trade setup. This shit really isn't that difficult.
Im just a little nobody, so it "amuses" me to see Big Boys obsessing about what the neighbors think or combing their hair with the perfection of a shy teenage girl. If the Big Boys are big enough, then why would they care about other people's opinions?
Have you spoken with @steemcleaners about these trolls? They may be able to suggest a very effective course of action.
While I feel for your situation, it makes me really uncomfortable to see you making a post calling for a flagging brigade.

I have actually seen some of your work and admittedly it is good. I think we can learn from each other. Again I feel awful about what I did, I should have just sucked it up. But see now we are talking! I like that. I will help both you and @traderglen build your channels if I can. With past things, calls I made hell yes I have been wrong MANY times, but I have also been right as well. Anyway I hope to put all this behind us. You're a user with a massive following. Calling for a flagging brigade is an abuse of your influence.
I don't care if they're trolls or not, flagging brigades shouldn't be rallied like this. Period.
Have a major issue with trolls, spammers, etc? Talk about it. Without calling for your followers to go out and flag someone for you. Inform people without instructing (or hint-hint-nudge-nudging) them to act.
It's an abuse of your power as an influential member of the Steemit community.

Hey, Greg. I'm glad to hear that you have solved the issues with @traderglen and @joejustjoe . You know, I have been following you on YT for some time already, and then you were the one who brought me to steemit. I'm grateful for that.
But it saddened me to see you call for a flagging jihad. You know, in a war there are no winners, only losers and scorched earth.
You may remember, I'm not a trader, so I cannot judge how good your recommendations are. I listen to you for your overall view on things, and on that I usually agree with you. And most of all it convinces me, that you are not asking for money. The usual subscription fee for newsletters and such, like many other do.
However, people have also the right to disagree, as long as it happens in a respectful way. May be you should have more faith in your "lions", we can make our decision on how to view criticism towards you.
Well, its good you and the 2 guys are now talking reasonably. Because there are more than enough other things going on at the moment that need our attention.
Well my crusade did work because without it, nothing would have changed.
Gotta say Greg, witch hunting isn't something that you need to or should stoop to. You've got a big following, and there's always those who will take it too far. Watch what you call for and leave it up to your followers to drown out the trolls.

Thanks, I'd like to give the other side of the story but for sure I will be flagged. I see no reason why he should come over to my steemit blog to flag a post about a short trade in SLV I outlined today. I made no mention of him in that post.

No. But you already can hear my side of the story by visiting Greg's video set he posted today about options trading. I listened to the entire first video and gave some insight on a point Greg failed to cover...the destruction of value by time decay in options trading. My spews weren't flagged all day...maybe they are now. For some reason he decided to come to my blog and start flagging my commentary...even though I didn't even mention him at all. I don't gt it. I even told Trader Glen earlier that I was thinking that it wasn't Greg, but one of his high rated followers doing it. Then Greg admitted it was him. Can't say I was "shocked!" But it definitely isn't something who claims to be a "professional" trader would do.
I agree, it's definitely not something anyone that claims to be a professional should do.
Whether or not either of you are trolls, I don't know for sure. But I can say that Greg's own behavior, by making this post calling for a flagging brigade, speaks volumes about him.
He agreed to have an open discussion with me here today and personally I think it was just a case of Greg letting his emotions get the best of him. Similar to TraderGlen's quick trigger reaction. I actually care about credibility so I would never go off like that...but I understand why he did it.

I understand you want people to hear your side of it, but if you keep posting this link, they aren't even gonna try.
Please have faith that the Steemit community at large is smart enough to look into something before flagging away. There will always be those that follow blindly, but they don't seem to be the vast majority.

Flagging you will only make your posts not appear in the regular feeds. Anyone that intentionally goes to your blog will still be able to see your posts, even if your reputation is 0.

Both your steemit and youtube make this obvious, and Greg isn't trying to shut down your channel, he's just tired of your spam (which we all are). I'm in no way supporting you, just looking out for somebody who is actually relevant.
Dig up some evidence on me please. I made an agreement with Greg over the weekend to not call him names any more and to not speak to him here at his blog in a demeaning fashion. I made some very helpful spews on Greg's blog about "options trading 101" today. Investigate, and then tell me what I am doing wrong. I don't mind being censored at his place actually. But he is now ruining the progression of new trades I am posting at my personal blog. I'd like to be able to let my followers see things in a clear and orderly fashion. I can't do that because of Greg. I hope it stops but if it doesn't that's fine too. I'm not here to make a windfall in STEEM cash becuase I already know the future of all cryptos is bleak...and that's putting it mildly. :-)

It takes little effort to throw around insults and half-baked criticisms. It takes a lot more to create new, useful content, and put yourself out there for criticism yourself. After looking at their feeds, it's pretty clear to me what type those guys are.

Ha! I get it, it doesn't seem like you're a troll (though you're spamming ^this response at the moment). And maybe Greg should have a thicker skin in this instance (sorry Greg), but even though you may not want to consider yourself an expert trader after just listening to Greg's videos; I have found them to be really insightful and accurate for the most part.
I think Steemit is a new SMALL/INTIMATE platform at the moment that INCENTIVIZE$ (monetarily!) people to post and interact. So I really understand the power-posting during these early days of steem.
Greg is a slick character. I have seen him do and say some disturbing stuff. I have been following Greg since 2013. He came on to my radar when he was telling his subs to get out of stocks and buys silver 2011- to date. Anyone who took his actionable investment advice was financially ruined. I just pointed this out to Greg and was labeled a troll. Greg ties to come of like the boy next door, but that was far from it when he made fun of retarded people, by mocking another youtuber who has a thick Jewish NY accent. Greg made a video and acted retarded, using a Jewish NY accent. Anyone who has a family member, who is mentally challenged would have not found that video endearing. I understand but it seems so senseless to keep posting this. Maybe create a heartfelt blog that we want to read giving your side of the argument. I would read it. @marketreport Greg is a good man and we need to keep Steemit positive. Everyone's opinion matters here but trolling is just no good. Thanks for understanding @traderglen
